Why ask and not just port them to all the current systems? There's a realistic chance the systems, like Xbox, that don't usually receive Atlus titles have a bunch of potential fans that would support them given the chance.

What country were you in that KH3 was $80 at release?

$60 here in the US.

They're actually wrong for having had a price in the first place which caused Sony and Nintendo to follow suit.

You're paying for the ability to connect to the internet you already pay a service for. Any servers they provide, be it for their store or general use, or within the games itself should be subsidized by those same features. You buy a game, that purchase helps pay for dedicated servers. They want to sell more games, they invest in quality servers for their ...

For myself it wasn't. The extreme simulation they went for removed a lot of the fun of playing a video game for me.

Where's the downvote button? I need to mash that a few hundred times. What a horrible piece of drivel masquerading as an opinion to stir up some shit and get clicks. Forget thegamer.com and the author. Could the author have been up CDPR's butt any further?

It's not an unrealistic expectation for a game to simply work and be playable, which as we're all abundantly aware of, is not the case for the largest population of players (PS4, Xbox One). CDPR has recogn...

You lost me at "all these WW2 weapons have iron sites."

Yes, yes they do.

And Fallout 3 can be beaten in about 4 hours. What's your point? People are acting like having a "short" campaign in an open world game is something new when 20 hours actually puts this on the long side for games of this style.

Uh huh.... and?

Where's the article here? Is this a brag? A complaint? A compliment?

Who cares. Just delete some shit and make more space.

The error of DLing PS4 instead of PS5 will see a quick fix. That's just bug. "Smart Delivery" has existed since the PSP/PSV/PS3 era. It's just a buzzword for something we already had. Yes, it is a great feature, it's just not new.

I wouldn't put much stock into any complaints of issues with PS5 or Xbox until more are in the hands of people and issues become more widespread. Whenever you have millions of units of a new electronic item out there, there will be problems from time to time and with the social information age we live in, you hear about it immediately and loudly. Most of the time these are isolated issues. Unless we start seeing a new Red Ring, don't worry.

I don't understand articles like these. Yes, I would love to see quick resume on PS5 (and PC), but each of the consoles has good features the others don't. So, why does that warrant an entire article about it? Do I need to start complaining about the lack of haptic feedback and 3D audio on the Xbox?

Wait, so you believe companies should pay their development teams to create free upgrades for everyone? That's a pretty entitled idea.

This whole concept of free upgrades is new to the gaming space and there's no reason any developer should feel pressured to do so at their own expense. Yes, it's a wonderful thank you to your fans and I applaud those that are doing it but I'm not going to shame those that aren't.

While loot boxes share the same inherent rush and addiction that gambling provides, by pure definition they are not the same. There's no chance of loss in a loot box. You are always receiving the value you spend on the boxes though you may be less excited or upset by what you received.

Smart delivery isn't new nor exclusive. It's just a marketing term for something that already exists on both consoles.

2048d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Shorter games already exist and game length is subjective.

There are literally thousands, upon thousands of games out there and between consoles and PC you're likely to see dozens of new releases each week. There are games of every length and variety here. There's literally nothing that needs to change other than personal tastes for what you're willing to try and play.

Not really.

Again, the appeal of system is largely based on the game library and unfortunately, unless you're specifically that person interested in Halo or Forza, there's little to be interested in at this time. Additionally, the Xbox library is also available on PC making it even less necessary.

Playstation has a long history of quality exclusives. I'd much rather know I'm getting quality games than to go into yet another generation of ...

The only complaint I had about the original was that it was too long. When you have to complain about something like that, they must have done everything else right.
