I'll get the PS3 version because I know my PS3 will make it all the way through the game without dying. Whenever I am on my 360 I am always worried about it crapping out half way through my game or my session. And piece of mind while I am gaming is more important than 30fps vs 60 fps or this version has 6 bricks compared to the 6 1/2 bricks the other version has.
just think of all the multiplats that would turn exclusive if they did. Dead Space, Mass Effect, NFS, Madden and that is only a few. I would get it for Dead Space & ME alone. It would hurt MS more then Sony because of the 1st & 2nd party studios that Sony has compared to MS who basically solely rely on 3rd party multiplat games with timed exclusivity.
couldn't have happened to a better company well except for maybe Activision. MS is a garbage company that releases garbage products that are rushed and insecure. I personally hope sales tank for them on this and that is forces them into bankruptcy. They are not good for the computer world or the video game world.
it's not that alot of people can't afford it, it is just a ripoff to pay for a service that doesn't even have dedicated servers for their games and to have stuff like this happen. But you are free to pay for whatever you like. I will stick with my silver account and if I feel the need to play online I will use my PS3 for free with dedicated servers for their games.

how about letting me be able to play the 1st game before announcing the sequel. And when the hell will this sequel be out? 2020 or something? Sony really needs to stop announcing games that are like 10 years away!
install or no install at least all PS3 owners who buy the game will get to enjoy the whole game, unlike Forza 3 where arcade owners with no HDD can't install the 2nd disc like needed so will only get to play a gimped game. Unless of course they spring for the overpriced MS HDD, yet Sony installs are the problem? Geez get real!
if it was any other game or dev everyone would be up in arms. But since it is the over rated COD & IW everything is ok. I don't want your game weather it is HD, low def or any other def because you are associated with Activision.
if MS charges well over a 100 for a 120 gig HDD can you just imagine what they would charge for a TB HDD? I could probably buy a new house with that.
who really cares? If you have fun playing that is all matters, right? We game for fun, enjoyment and to escape real life for a little while. I personally won't be getting it because Halo is a stale played out franchise like COD to me, But to those looking forward to it this should not make them have any less fun.

the only speculated price was on the BR drive and I was generous everyone knows it would be more! So how is that not going by the numbers. You just need to take your head out of MS's ass and breath some fresh air for a change. Do you own both consoles? If not then you are just a MS fanboy! I own both consoles so I know what the price is and what they sell for in my area.

I own a 360 but you can't argue with the numbers they are just stating the truth.
so they go from a scumbag company to a bigger scumbag of a company. Maybe they liked the fact the Activision is raising the price on their published games so they will get better royalties. While I dislike EA I really really hate Activision with a passion.

that only implies to multiplat games thanks to the Xbox 360 and their dated dvd9 medium. 1st party games and exclusives utilize the advantage of BR and it shows in the final product. That is why Rockstar is making Agent an exclusive after they watered down GTA IV due to the limits the 360 imposes on developers and their visions of what they want their games to be.
I personally bought Infamous 1st to support the 1st party devs ( not sure if SP is 1st party but it was exclusive & not published by Activision who I just plain hate with a passion ) that Sony has. I also bought prototype but after I had finished Infamous. So I am 1 of the and I quote from this site " non game buying PS3 owners " that actually bought both.
so they want 15 bucks for a section of the game they held out so they could sell it at a later time for extra money? Ya right!!!
that is why I will only buy Activision published games used from now on if they happen to release something worth buying. Screw Activision and their hypocrisy!
I felt the water was really under utilized in the 1st UC. I mean the swimming just didn't feel right and you couldn't dive under it. It may have looked good but Drake and the water didn't play well together imho.
