I will keep my silver account and use the 50 bucks I would've spent on XBL gold to buy a new game for my PS3 and then play it online for free on the PS3. I only use my 360 for it exclusives so I haven't bought much so far this year and if it's a 3rd party game I wait a year to make sure it isn't a timed exclusive. Everything about live is a ripoff to me, even the new games on demand are more then the physical copy you can buy at the store.

there is no install unless you choose to install it to the HDD. It is on disc and you get both games for 36.99.

or I could get the combo of Bioshock / Oblivion and only pay about 18 bucks per game. This digital distribution is a complete ripoff and they can keep it.
I also am all for supporting the devs and have never pirated a game and just bought my 1st used game a few weeks back ( Prototype ) becuase it was published by Activision. If the dev feels the need to associate with Activision I choose not to support them. I am sure they could have found a different publisher for the game like EA, Bethesda, Sony, MS Game Studios to name a few.
As far as I am concerned if you sleep with scum you are scum and Activision is scum.
all Activision games should be pirated or bought used imho if a person feels the need to play any of the generic cookie cutter games. The devs should find a new publiher and disassociate themselves from the biggest scumbag company in the industry. While I personally won't pirate Wolfenstein I will eventually pick it up used at some point.
EA's line up just looks amazing while Activision's just plain blows with just a few rehashed generic games that they release every 6 months.

this is my biggest problems with all these rumor stories. This one even goes as far as to recommend waiting to buy a PS3 on nothing more then rumor & speculation.
That is what I feel MS should be investing it's money in instead of DLC and junk like that. Good move MS you can never have enough 1st party support!
the difference is all PS3 owners buy ALL their games while 360 users half buy and half pirate so Sony becomes the better revenue market for publishers. Maybe Activision should make a note of this when 1/2 of the 360 owners pirate MW2 while every copy sold on the PS3 will net them some profit.

preteens & senior citizens don't buy many games and that is your core gamer on the Wii. I have a Wii and it has been buried in my closet for about a year, I just hate motion controls so the Wii was not good fit for me.
figures that MS makes them charge for the 360 for what they would give us for free. And people actually like MS as a company which I really don't understand.
yes GTA IV will still suck the only difference will be that the suck gets extended. GTA IV was and has been the biggest let down to me so far this gen.

I was gonna get Wolfenstein day 1 but have decided to wait and pick it up used because it is published by Activision. So I will get it around the end of the month when the store or Amazon has some used copies.
