Sony delivers the most games of the 3 consoles and that is all that I care about. So Sony is it for me until someone releases a more varied array of games ( unlikely ) and has more 1st party studios ( again unlikely). All's that I want are games that aimed to a mature audience and Sony delivers well above MS & Ninty with that.
more of the same with MS, how about a new IP instead of Halo, Gears & Forza all the time. Hope it is not a Kinect game.
what they need to do is the complete opposite of GTA4 and make the game fun again.
in no certain order
Activision - only relases the same game over & over with no noticeable improvements
MS - charges for everything even though it is free everywhere else & does nothing to push the industry forward
Capcom - blatantly rips off the consumer
Disc locked content - see Capcom
to much emphasis on multiplayer - not every game needs MP forced into it
well they need a 1st party teams of developers before they can expand the 1st party library.
just the fact the Capcom is part of the game makes it a no buy for me. I personally refuse to support Capcom and the way they rip off their customers.
probably just another poorly westernized POS game from the once might SE.
anticipation = 0
sad thing is the game will succeed weather it deserves to or not just based on the fact that COD is in the title.
but I will say I liked B.O's better than the MW COD games.
it's all about the game play for me. While top notch graphics are nice they don't make or break the game for me. Who would really care how good a game looks if the controls are loose and sloppy or if the hit detection/aim is off and your continually shooting nothing but air.
Game play > graphics imho
and some idiots will pay for it and then still have to pay more for all the locked content. There are suckers born every minute of everyday!
the reviewer is entitled to his/her opinion. Or should the reviewer lie about their true feelings of the game to appease others?
I say play the games for yourselves and make your own judgement on the game.
I'll pick this up when it hits the 19.99 price then use the rest of the money on the DLC. FF XIII just wasn't RPG enough for me.
just don't buy their games. I haven't bought a Capcom game since the RE5 coop ripoff where they charged for the MP that was already on the disc. I don't have a problem with DLC just the way certain companies like Capcom do it. So I speak with my money by giving it to a worthy dev/publisher that isn't blatantly ripping the gamer off.
To each their own though so do what you will with the info. I just know that Capcom won't see any of my money.
like how to release a incomplete product and then charge extra for the cut pieces to complete the product?
Capcom I'll pass after RE5 and their DLC BS.
this is exactly why I stopped preordering games and have started to wait for them to hit around the $20.00 price point. I can then use that 40 I saved to buy the locked content so I have the complete game for the $60.00 they charge for a so called complete game.
maybe its time to spend the thousands a year I spend on games on hookers & weed instead.
all of this DLC BS accomplished 1 thing for me. It has stopped me from preordering games, waiting till they hit the $20.00 price range and then use the other 40 I would have spent preordering to buy the DLC that the jerks lock on the disc.
It has also made me stop buying games from certain companies like Capcom to name one.
this is a great answer & I totally agree with this
"Wouldn't it be nice to see a year which has no sequels! It would cause people to actually have to think about what game they want to buy instead of buying the same thing again because that's what they know."
they need to invest in studios
I have like 3,400 trophies and my favorite game this gen didn't have them which is Valkyria Chronicles. I could not really care less if there is trophies or not as long as I enjoy the characters, story & game play that the game offers. I guess that comes from gaming for over 30 years without them.
