Why? Because people continually buy their games there is no reason to change what they are doing quality wise. I played through Skyrim and have close to 300hrs of play time. I think the game froze on me twice where I had to actually reboot the PS3 and I had frame rate issues in certain areas. As far as the DLC is concerned if we get it we get it, if not oh well.
I'll get it for this game based off the DLC from Borderlands. It was all quality content that was a actual add-on to the game and not just locked content. I don't say I will buy DLC very often and a can count on 1 hand the amount of DLC I have bought all gen. Gearbox is one of very few devs imho that deserve to have their DLC bought.
After RE5 ( I personally don't like the action co-op oriented direction they went with this series ) and their continual DLC BS I just don't buy anything that has Capcom on the package anymore.

For me personally a game releasing on a yearly basis is to much in to short of time. I don't care what series it is. To me there should be a few years in between releases of any series.
I wasn't even taking Mario into consideration when I made my comment I was strictly talking about the AC series. I haven't played a Mario game since the early 90's.

I liked XIII just not as a FF game, FF XIII-2 fixed some of the issues from XIII but also messed up some of the other things that XIII had right. The most noticeable to me was the party in XIII-2 was limited to 2 people? WTF is that? What kind of JRPG has a 2 member party? They also need to bring back the classes for each character. If everyone can do the same thing it doesn't matter who is in your party. Maybe that is why they cut the party back to 2 people.

MGS5 will be a next-gen multiplat game running on the new Fox engine, when MS releases their new console I am sure it will have a larger storage medium than the current Xbox. That is the only reason MGS4 never made it to the 360 was the DVD format, they even made fun of the 360 using DVD in the game.
Other than the DVD limitations the 360 could have run MGS4 with no problem.

As long as all games will release either on disc or as a download day & date they should offer a model of the system weather it is the PS3 or 360 that does not have a disc drive included but has a 500gb-1tb HDD at a lesser price point.

While I love co-op I just don't feel MG is a series that needs it. Hopefully it will be optional and not forced on you like RE5 and what DS3 seems to be doing.
