Nope unless it's a 10-20 credit for a future purchase. These skins and weapons are a complete bunch of BS imho and in fact make we not want to order the game because I know the content is locked on the disc.
I actually order 1 today. I had a 120 in preorder credits from games so it only cost me $279.99. Now I will be able to decide if I will get a large screen 3d tv to replace my current 52" hdtv. If I do this will become my PC monitor.
I agree the only reason this game has Metal Gear in the name is to boost its sales. It looks & plays nothing like a real MG game.

the proverbial final nail in the coffin for the once mighty & great FF. reduced to nothing more then a RPG equivalent of COD and other such yearly games. After Vs XIII if it ever releases I don't think I will be buying anymore SE games, they can go on the no buy list with Capcom.
reasons like this is why I haven't bought a Scamcom game since RE5. There are much better developers & publishers to support then these crooks.
A day 1 patch for a single player game is never a good sign, especially if you look back at how buggy & glitchy some of their games have been this gen.

I'm more prone to buys games on physical media then a DL only title. I have only bought 1 DL only title for my PS3 compared to like 200 disc games. So I guess they lost my sale.
I couldn't agree more, and Valkyria Chrinicles is still my favorite PS3 game even without the trophies. I am just hoping that they port the PSP VC games to the PS3.
That has been my biggest let down this gen, Having my fav game of the gen VC get a sequel on a platform I don't own or really want to own.

doesn't MS always ban a mil or so consoles heading into the holidays to boost their sales #'s? It is the MS way of doing business.
meh, i don't buy the half games Scamcom releases anymore. And after RE5 I personally don't think I will be missing much.
A deeper storyline would be good. I loved everything about the original except the storyline.
