" what does the timed exclusivity mean to Nintendo? "
There I fixed it, they are like MS and left out the word timed before stating exclusive. Anyone remember RE4? EXCLUSIVE TO GAMECUBE! 6 months later is was on the PS2.
I would bet that this is only a timed exclusive.
like when RE4 was announced as a Gamecube exclusive? And then was on the PS2 6 months later. They did the same thing MS does with these things and forgot to use the word " TIMED " before the word exclusive.
I would bet that within 6-12 months it will be on all platforms.
I like insomniac Games and have enjoyed their past games so I am more than willing to give their new game a try. I also like to support Devs when they make new IP's because new Ip's & ideas are what push the industry forward, continual sequels / clones stagnate the industry imo.
ya like Acti will actually update a game engine to take advantage of it. Acti hasn't gotten any of my money in years, they are 1 of 2 devs/publishers I refuse to support in any way, the other is Capcom.
My friend gave me MW3 about 4 months ago but I haven't played it yet. If he didn't just give it to me and asked me to pay for it I would have told him to keep it. Acti games just aren't worth your hard earned money imho.
locked content will be unlocked via our 100kb keys dlc after release.
There I fixed it
MEH, DS has been bastardized to nothing more than a bargain bin pick up. It's such a shame because after the 1st I thought it would be one of my favorite series for years to come.
While they certainly aren't my favorite FF's and to me should not have the name FF but they have to finish what they started. I dislike incomplete story arcs more then games using a name to get sales when it is obvious that is what they are doing.
While XIII-2 fixed some of the issues in XIII, it also created a big issue at least to me, that being the party. What kind of JRPG especially a FF game has a 2 person party? The other huge issue to me is the lack of skill cl...
they hold themselves back imho, just look at the buggy games they release. While I enjoy their games they do have their issues which some have worse than others.
the best implementation of the Sixaxis that I have played was Folklore
expect more / higher fees for what should be fee, customers paying to look at advertising on the dashboard, so basically just more of the same.
last 2 gens I was a PS/Xbox gamer, next gen I will be a PS/PC gamer and probably won't get the new Xbox until much later in the generation. I will basically be missing out on Halo, forza & Fable all of which I was not that big on. Gears I believe will be a Xbox/PC game next gen and all the other 3rd party games will be availab...
Digital only cost them at least 1 sale, mine. Maybe it will be a freebie on PS+ at some point then I will give it a try.
While neither another Halo or a remake of a PS2 game get me excited. I am excited looking past that and am looking at TLOU & Beyond and even that new move game to get excited, Sony is the only company who gets new IPs should come all throughout a consoles life cycle and that is why I will continue to be a PS gamer 1st over any other platform. While I enjoy sequels to games I liked I need more than that to keep me happy as a gamer and Sony has delivered those new & different experience...
couldn't agree more, risk is also what pushes the industry forward. The only people I could see who would disagree with you are the gamers who only want a new COD every 6 months.
I don't really care who or when because I personally am in no rush. I have close to 30 disc games I haven't even opened yet ( just got to ME2 ) and then add in the PS3/PSN games I have gotten from plus and the games still coming like BioShock Infinite, TR, Borderlands 2 to name a few and I could go years without needing a new console.
when I first saw the little pick quickly I thought it was the person who played Harry Potter, lol.
gotta finish the story arc after playing the 1st 2.Hopefully this one will have a full party again, a 2 people party in a JRPG is a joke imo. They really need a full party with character classes so deciding your party actually takes some thought. I really dislike that everyone is basically the same in your party skill/ability wise. I'll pick it up later when it is 20-30 bucks, got XIII-2 for 14.99.
only problem is a cougar for me would be in here 70's or 80's, I'm 43. So in a word no thanks!
Easy mode is great for after you've beaten the game on the hardest settings, where you have to move very slowly and precisely. I usually will do a run through on easy just to go wild & crazy after I've beaten the harder difficulties. I'm currently playing ME2 on Insane difficulty and am dying like crazy, I am looking forward to playing through again on easy so I can actually pop out of cover without being turned into Swiss Cheese.
if ever you are bored while playing a game, any game, it is time to stop playing and start a new one.
Hope it is more like DA: Origins then DA:2, I liked and enjoyed both but preferred origins game play over 2's.
