story & game play wise, yes it does. From a technical stand point no it doesn't. Some areas of the game just feel incomplete, like the saving ( you will end up with over 40 save files, wtf ) and also the looting of chests/corpses where the only option is to take all or nothing which wouldn't be a big deal if the game would recognize when your health/ salts were full so they weren't being wasted when alls you want are the coins.
It is a great enjoyable game but...
doesn't anything that gets commercialized always become a shell of what it used to be? It gets watered & dumbed down to appeal to the mass market.

finished it last night, I really liked the ending but I did have the game glitch & I had to reload from the previous check point because Elizabeth disappeared & a door wouldn't open until she activated it.

your loss noone elses. I agree with so many great games as I currently have close to 40 unopened games but for me Bioshock went right to the top of the pile.
On another note the game is great but is noway deserving of perfect scores. I had 2 freezes, saw some screen tearing and what the hell's up with the save files? I currently have 44 save files on my PS3 from their auto save system. WTF is up with that?
a great game with dead servers & yet another fighting game when they're the least requested genre on Plus. A crappy update imo.

@ LVL-UP: Skyrim was fine got over 250 hours played and got the Plat. A few slow downs but no freezes during my time with it.
How was FF XIII on your 360? I know it was a beautiful HD game on 1 disc for me.

you got disagrees because some peoples console of choice already had their 1 exclusive for the year release and now they have nothing else to look forward to except multiplats but you can't really brag about those because everyone & their brother can play those so it shows no benefit in owning their console of choice.
Then they get their faces rubbed in it with a big list of exclusives for the arch rival console.
PS3 version and very early on when I first got to Colombia I was looking for coins along the edge of a flower bed that was against some rocks and I could see patches of blue were the 2 met where the sky was coming through the seam.
The freeze happened when I was on my way to meet Elizabeth for the 1st time and again I was searching around the perimeter for coins and every time I passed these 2 guards at a locked gate the game would freeze on me.
sorry to hear you have such issues, I switched over to Amazon the beginning of this gen because they were always offering 10-20 dollar credits for pre-orders where GS wasn't. While I may not have gotten my games on release day I would always receive them about a week later without a issue.
