Here are my Top 7 reasons why 2015 was a great year for gaming in no particular order.
1. BC for last gen games is a reality now.
2. Great titles like Bloodborne, Until Dawn, Halo 5, Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Xenoblade X, Witcher 3, Ori and Fallout 4 for all of us to enjoy.
3. Console prices hit the magical $299 mark made it more affordable for all.
4. Elite Controller. Best controller ever for gaming was released!
@highlife,
I also have had good experience with Sony support in the past. My previous laptop, a Viao laptop have a few dead pixels on its LCD after a few months after used. Gave customers support a call and sent my laptop in and got the screen replaced in about a week with free shipping. Never have any deal with PS customer service though so it might be a case by case basis like almost everything else.
Heard good thing about this game. Definitely will see it myself when I get it in a few days.
Yea, totally forgot about Helldivers...Definitely one of the best games I had played on PS4 this year. Add that one on the list too.
"If you have ps prove it join n4g ps4 community."
LOL, there are already enough people like you here on N4G that are rude and hate on anyone that is not 100% pro Sony already, so why would I want to join the PS community knowing more people with your attitide will be on there? Ayaayaahh!!
Blood sample perhaps? Just give me your address and I'll send it to you via Fed Ex. LoL
Right, so Ori, Screamride, State of Decay HD, Rare Replay and Gears Ultimate were all released in the last 2 months. Eyes roll
ThePope and Dewitt,
You both are correct. I mean we are talking about first party self-published OR console exclusives for 2015, are we not? So Tomb Raider do definitely fit into that catagory...Unless somehow the rules changes again.
Hopefully those that were affected and didn't get their code yet, will have this resolve soon. No one wants to be be the one that was promised something and didn't get what they were promised on a timely manner.
Another good review. I had previously played it on PS3 and it isn't as good as Heavy Rain and definitely not as good as your other review of a similar game in Until Dawn..which I plan on picking up in a few days. For the remaster itself, I feel like a collection with Heavy Rain HD should be the way to go instead of selling them at $30 a piece.
I got my phone..that is all the handheld gaming I ever needed. That and a clip on Bluetooth controller is all I need for some portable fun.
Good review. Gonna pick this one up soon as I heard good things about it.
Neither Rocket league nor PlanetSide are Sony Published games on PS4 and both were already on PC. State of DECAY is published by MS and Tomb Raider is exclusive to Xbox in 2015 and MS published it on XB1...so I stayed on topic of what the author is asking in this piece with
"We at gamezntech have analyzed the three console manufacturers and how their self published or first party line up has fared critically by looking through Metacritic ratings of these titles". <...
Good news.
Can't wait. Hope it is BC with Wii U games as I just bought a Wii U.
Great news. MASS effect trilogy BC included in Mass Effect 4 will be awesome for XB1 gamers.
Also looking forward to Lost Odyssey and other multidisc titles.
Happy holidays Sony on a wonderful year.
This accessory is useless as Ext HDD pretty much made this pointless just like those silly ext fans that NyKo ate trying to sell.
Will be missing one of my mains when I play SFV. Hopefully he can be added later.
Then why is Dragon Quest Heroes on there when the publisher is Square Enix?
Also, like Bloodborne, which was developed by FromSoftware and published on PS4 by Sony, Rise of the Tomb Raider was developed by Crystal Dynamic and Microsoft is the publisher of Tomb Raider for Xbox One in 2015. So I think that both should either be counted or both omitted from the list..to be fair.
Unfortunately, MS owned the IP so unless MS pulled a Minecraft like on Wii U, don't see that happening.
