For my honest view, I'll have to grade the PS4 as a "B+" for 2015.
There were certainly alot of great things that made it good in 2015 but there were also a few things that IMO held it back from greatness as well.
Plus:
1. Bloodborne was one one of the best games I'd played this year and the expansion was also spendid. Until Dawn was also a big surprise for many gamers and myself. A sleeper hit.
2. First price drop ...
Thanks moldy and Darth for making the point I was referring to.
It is just a my personnal list of games I had purchased for all my systems so I really dont get why people need to countered-argue with their list to try to prove otherwise.
Heck, on my preorder link, I have 2 PS4 games in SFV and Uncharted 4 to one XB1 game in Quantum Break for the first 3 games I am getting for 2016 if that also means anything. LOL
As I already mentioned before, I valued value to Remasters titles. For Rare Replay, it is $30 for 30 games and Gears Ultimate has new textures made from the grounds up, added 5 new levels that were previously missing from the X360 game, games online is now on Smooth and faster dedicated servers, and comes extra with 4 BC games digitally.
I would have had bought GOW3 HD if Ascension and its MP were included but a single game remastered for $40, no way. Also I would do the same...
Definitely D'Vorrah. ONE of the most vicious and evil villains we had seen in some time now.
Depends on what type of gamers and what your gaming tastes are.
For people that like quantities and love indies and Niche titles mixed in to their gaming taste, then PS4 definitely had you covered in 2015.
But for gamers like me that love exclusives that are of bigger budget and quality and value, then IMO XB1 won in 2015 for me.

It seems like he doesn't even own a gaming PC either by one of his earlier comments. He is just using "Got my PC also" as an added ammo on his trolling on XB1 when deemed neccessary. LOL

"PC beggars really are the joke of the industry. Their stupid and hypocritical ideological stance towards consoles just exposes them, as they beg for ports of console games by the hundreds of thousands.

Hmm, Ori is published by MS and the IP is owned by MS so how is that an indie? :/ .
Of curse I am talking about self-published low budget indie titles. Ayayaa!
What is up with people automatically claiming people don't own certain things when they talk a bit negative or don't worship a brand like a religion?
I too am not excited by what I am seeing from this game and I am a verified PS fan and PS4 owner on N4G.
Com on people, claiming "you don't own a PS4" is such an old cliché now. Smh
I give XB1 an "A+" this year.
-Great titles, great updates with the NXE, Windows 10, streaming at up to 1080p and 60fps.
-Backward compatibility is fantastic as it is not only a great fan service, but also those digital titles are being added twice monthly now on Xbox Live Gold and freebies are being bundled with AAA games like FO4, Just Cause 3 and Gears Ultimate.
-great lineup of highly rated games from Ori, to Gears Ultimate, For...
This is the the beauty of BC on emulation. Improvement can be made with updates. Mass Effect and those Gears titles are running miles better than their initial releases so no doubt we can expect the same from Halo Reach.
" I own a cartridge of Link to the Past but have to redownload it on Wii U"
First of all A SNES Cartridge is not compatible with a disc drive so no one expects Link to the Past to be compatible with a Wii or Wii U or Gamecube. It is like saying you have a VHS version of Rocky trying to play it on a Blu Ray player. But....I do know the DVD version is compatible with a Blu Ray player. This is where Sony is wrong.
I, like many, don't have an ...
What a weak month. 2 more indies on PS4? Come on give us something like Killzone SF already. Hope they start giving away some PS2 emulated titles as part of the 2016 PS Plus service.
For me, here are my top 5 in reversed order.
5. MS's lineup of exclusives were weak in the first 1/2 of the year.
4. SONY's lineup of exclusives were weak in the second 1/2 of the year.
3. The Orders, Evolve, Godzilla and Battlefront are were major disappointments for me.
2. PS2 games emulated on PS4 are not free of charge for people that already owned then last gen on PS2 digital Classics and disc based.

Rise of the Tomb Raiderived was my GOTY this year. Best action Adv game I had played since uncharted 2
Is this a joke? Forza 6 is the RGOTY, no and if or but.
Depend on which system you own. What kind of question is that?
But having both systems and both services, I currently have to give the edge to Live Gold.
-More games on dedicated servers from Gears, to Forza, to Halo 5 to almost every MS published titles will be using dedicated servers. SONY, with the recent announcement that their biggest franchise in Uncharted 4 will not be using dedicated servers, is not a good sign that dedicated servers usage will be in ...
Ok...great news for PS4 owners but this article is about Xbox live deal so I have no clue why you even bought that up.

Nope. Some of the biggest games like Red Dead Redemption, Mass Effect 2, SF4, Bioshock Infinite were all released in the first half of the year and they all did fine.
People that are diehard of the series already reserved the game on preorder many months ago and it will do great regardless when they are release. Reserved mine way back in August and looking forward to it when it comes out in April.
