What I take from this is by allowing more people to access new IPs from QB, to Recore, to Sea of Thieves, to KI, means more likely we will see future installments for these franchises.
Also, this could mean MS will be more willing to create and fund more new IPs in the future if QB and many current XB1/Windows 10 games are successful commercially. Which will be a win win for gamers in my book.

Well said. Look at the brightside, you get a PC windows 10 version with the XB1 digital version and offer cross saves between both MS paltforms. Not much different than what many PS4/Vita games are doing.
I think this is great news and with more sales of new IPS like QB, Recore and Sea of Thieves due to more people have access to them means a better chance of seeing sequels for those new IPs and MS willing to take more risk of funding more original IPS in the future.

Sony don't have a PC platform to support like MS with Windows 10 so that is understandable. They have the Vita as their other platform that they need to support and not PC.

I do have a PC rig. That is not the issue. The issue is I had been defending MS with Quantum Break as a reason to own a XB1 in 2016 along with other games like Recore, and has been saying those words for months now.
Now it seems like what I was preaching is all for not. I am excited that I can play QB to its full potential on my PC rig, but this announcement so late into development left a bad taste in my mouth.

Great news. The XB1 version grant a free PC version as well and cross saves and a free Alan Wake BC game. I am glad this is on PC also.
Who cares about story mode in SF? The most important thing is how the characters play and online net code.

Man, this year alone we already have Deus Ex, Witcher 2, and leaked RDR, L4D2, Alan Wake American Nightmare, Tekken Tag 2, and now another great X360 games will be coming to BC on XB1.

Eonjay, the majority of the population don't have a PC rig capable of playing the newest blockbusters like Quantum Break or they have the desire to spend large amount of money for one so how is that going to change anything for the majority?
This bit of news, just like SFV and others, only affect a a select few at best so I dont think it is as bad as many made it out to be. I have a PC rig and glad the game is coming out but I only know like 2 other people that have a PC...
