how is it free when this standard feature should be there in the first place?
Free is when I buy a Whopper meal and get a second whopper for Free.
In street fighter 5 case, it is like buying a Whopper meal and was told to come back a month later to get my curly fries.
In that case, I might as well come back later and get the complete meal and hopefully a discount for all the trouble as well.
The problem is the game is missing even single player options like an Arcade mode at launch so add that with the Game lobby online net code issue, this game feels like it was rushed and a beta at a full $60.
Will wait till those issues and features are ironed out first before buying now.
Wow, the private lobby online seems like it is broken and a potential game breaker. Hopefully it is a quick fix.

I am talking about the IGN review of season 1 KI and SFV which were both reviewed by the same IGN reviewers that do most of the fighting game reviews, Vince Ingenito. Don't try to twist what I am saying.
And KI is irrelevant to what is missing and the lackluster contents that SFV has as a full retail game at launch. You don't need to bring up another fighting game of another platform to try to justify its shortcomings at launch . LoL

Well, KI is $20 a season and it's model is different than that of the full retail price game of SFV. You are not making any sense as what does KI and it's score got anything to do with what SFV is missing at launch?
BTW, IGN rated Killer Instinct a 8.4 and SFV 8.0. So scores is subjective.
Yea, I'll just wait for those contents to arrive then before buying. No biggie but I was really looking forward to the launch day as I usually play the entire Arcade mode with several characters and get my feel on before playing competitively online. Just have to wait for those standard features, and hopefully a cheaper price by then, before buying now. I have my own standard.

Wth..no arcade mode? $60 for a game without a mode that is standard for Fighters?

Nice assessment. I wonder why Capcom didn't go the Killer Instinct route if they were to bring up such a barebone effort and the story mode won't be completed till Jun? $60 seems like it is alot to pay for what is expected of games this generation.
Was planning and had pre ordered both PC and PS4 versions, but might have to just get one (probably the PC version) now until more contents and a cheaper price is in order at a later time.
Dang!, really was hoping this is higher..especially coming from IGN where they give out 9s like candy. But still, picking it up tomorrow.
If it is true, heck It is great news for gamers IMO. But what I am really tired of are these sites taking advantage of the situation and post rumors from unknown sources to bait for them clicks. They have no shame in it and it is a domino effect as every site now will post "according to wpdang" and make a story out of it and of course, the fanboys here will pretend and hoping "please, please, be true" all for the sake of this imagination console war. I don't know why gamers, especially those with a history of bashing another console even tries to pull of stunts like this. The funny thing is Sniper keep using "I have both" and "my gamerstag is my name on N4G" in many of his posts to try to make us believe that he is what he say he is.
He has like a 1200 gamerscores on LIVE which can easily be done by playing a few games for a short time at his friend's xbox,...

Best buy also offer 20% off if you are a gamers club member too. I chose Gamestop cause I got tons of credits that I can use still; otherwise, Best Buy is the best option if you want it guaranteed on Day One.
