Wrong. It is actually a lot easier for developers to make a game on a console platform that basically have like 2 configuration in either a High spec model with one set of GPU and a lower spec model with a lower GPU, both GPUs are from ATI than the many configurations of a PC. If developers can make games works on PC then why wouldn't it work on console that has less configuration and less multiple setups to deal with?

But Sony doesn't release their exclusives on PC so how else can people expect TLOU 2 with high end 1080p graphics and locked 60fps on both Campaign and Online MP if they want to play it at the highest possible setting without an upgraded PS4.5?
Don't know about you, but me and many gamers would kill to play all of Sony's amazing exclusives Maxed out to their fullest capability and is willing to pay for it.

I am all for consoles getting an early and mid generation upgrade similar to how tablets and phones are updated as long as the games are forward/backward compatible like a future Red Dead Redemption Sequel on PS4.5/Xb1.5 that is the equivalent of a max specs of PC and also works with the current consoles via lower specs.

Yea really a shame. There is a connecting theme with all these recent Sony studios closures. These are the studios that Sony had closed or had let go these past few years along with news of Evolution today.

I is still false advertising as "starting at $399" means it work out of the box but for the majority and potential new PS4 buyers, that won't be the case.
Very Unfortunate. It is always a sad day to see any Studios get the boot. It affects everyone from the developers and their family, to gamers, and to gaming sites like Dualshockers which depend on game studios to continue to support their game so they can continue to give us informative news articles daily.

Great idea. If the games are forward/backward compatible between the higher end PS4 and the current one, I see no problem with it. Just like I see no problem with PC games that can run on many configurations and the more you pay, the better graphics you can get. It is call option and just like the recent rumors of a more powerful XB1.5, which I was also for, I hope both scenario fall through.

Yup...us Americans don't have that option this year, it looks like. So it is false advertising in the States if Sony decides to so show a PSVR commercial and have "starting at $399" at the end of the commercial.
I was referring to the $399 PSVR should also include a Camera as the PsVR doesn't work without it. That is what I am complaining about.
This is worst actually, as not only is it for people that already have the camera, but they also packed in all those extra move controllers from the PS3 days that some people might not want as it is not "required" To play the PSVR with it, unlike the camera...all for $499, only hundred dollar cheaper than the more powerful Rift....
