Both main games launched just before other juggernauts of the industry, that is why they couldn't create a lot of buzz with their releases.
The first game Zero Dawn was released two days prior Breath of the Wild.
The second game Forbidden West was released less than a week prior Elden Ring.

They might delay it especially if they are planning to release the game for next holiday season since during that time GTA 6 is coming out and they can't fight that.

It's been years since they revealed Kingdom Hearts 4 so hopefully a surprise re-reveal

According to the official Steam page the game needs an RTX 3070 for the recommended system requirements. How?

A nearly 10 year old console with over 150 million units sold getting a price increase is ridiculous.

Just a guess.

Maybe with the other rumors that the PS6 will cost a lot of money they could use the current PS5 systems as a cheaper option and support them for a long time.

3x in rasterization that would put the PS6 on par with the RTX 4080-5080 and I don't see that level of performance getting significantly cheaper and power efficient in one more GPU generation, we will see as the next generation with smaller transistors should launch by then.

Another comment on the topic pointed out how how when the PS5 launched the NVMEs of this size were around £200 and now they are around £60 moreover they are using the old 7nm nodes for the CPU and GPU are getting cheaper with time and not more expensive. Both AMD and Nvidia are manufacturing their GPUs on the 4/5nm for a second generation. That is about the components
The push to PC might happen by pushing people to spend the money they would have for a console to make thei...

My Opinion: Prepare for the upcoming borderline monopolistic behavior on PlayStation that happens with little to no competition.

Great PS5 Pro should be the next product lined up for a price cut

I think there is supposed to be something for everyone not just gaming. People want media consumption other people want education or travel and when it starts hitting those niches the culmination would make VR viable for mass adoption.

Maybe.
I believe its what works better for each specific company.
For example PlayStation and Nintendo have a lot of users on their platforms who purchase a great volume of games/DLC/Subscriptions, out of which the platform holder receives a 30% cut from every game sold. In that case a strong platform with a lot of users is required and having (timed) exclusive content (Games/DLC) is a must to keep people buying your hardware basically strength in numbers.
But I c...

The way I think it would play out is: Playstation would wait for a couple more years to see how the multiplatform strategy will play out for Microsoft and if people are accepting it across.
What they might do is to reduce the exclusivity window to 3-4 months after release for the single player games as they would use them to sell hardware when people think they are missing out on their favorite franchise. Someone might say most people will wait but not all, we are seeing how some gam...

Just guessing here but it might be more with the nature of the character.
Tifa is a close range fighter who uses hand to hand combat similar to how most of the fighters in Tekken are, while most of the other playable characters even from the other FF games use some sort of a weapon (sword, staff, gun) and the developers from both sides might be wary of how the set character would be portrayed without using their iconic weapon or fighting style.
Plus FF7 is more popular than...

We will see if the rumors are true that the prices will go up and this generational performance uplift will be small than Lovelace generation in traditional performance.
