But it kind of looks like the card you get with the code for a free download of pain.
And There Was Much Rejoicing!
I expected it to be completely different.
I heard that it was supposed to have an extra start button on the back and 2 extra shoulder buttons.
When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn’t lifting himself up, he’s pushing the Earth down.
Chuck Norris doesn’t wear a watch, HE decides what time it is.
There is no 'ctrl' button on Chuck Norris's computer. Chuck Norris is always in control.
Let me just say this...
The Open Zone is outta control!
So wait...
This PS3 slim has vents on both sides?
Looks like the USB ports will be conveniently located on the back of the unit as well. (I assume since there are none to be seen)
You probably shouldn't stand it on it's end then, don't want to block the vents.
I'm pretty sure we all know what the slim looks like by now and this ain't it.
Lol @ people who disagree with logic.
Here it is plain and simple:
The Wii is in first and I'm pretty sure that's where it is staying.
The 360 is in second by a considerable margin, I agree.
BUT
The PS3's low end console is 399 and the 360's low end is 199.
At half the price of a PS3 the 360 should have killed the PS3 in sales but last time I checked the 360 outsold the PS3 by only 100k units worldwide.
Sure, In America the 360 is cleaning the PS3's clock, but...
What you say is true no doubt and I agree with you but look at it from a regular consumers POV.
Think about a laptop for example.
If you go in to but a laptop and the sale person says to you "This laptop doesn't have Wifi, this one does but who cares, wired is always better"
What are you going to buy?
A laptop with or without Wifi?
All I'm saying is having Wifi included is a very good selling point as far as consumers are concerned ...
Knock another 50 off and you've got a winner.
If MS wants the Elite to compete with the PS3 they need to make it cheaper.
Me thinks if the consumer is undecided when they go to buy a system they'll likely get a PS3.
Consumer: these are both 299, whats the difference?
Salesman: This one plays games and dvd's and this one plays games, dvd's, bluray and it has Wifi.
IMO the Elite price cut will boost sales, but only slightly.
In ord...
Some very good points in there.
Dropping the price of the current models of the PS3 to 299 and then selling the slim @ 399 made absolutely no sense to me.
If I were to guess how it's going down it would be...
1. Announcement of PS3 price cut to 299 @ Gamescom
2. Announcement of PS3 slim at a 299 price point @ TGS.
EDIT: @ jleack
That is a very good point.
Perhaps it will all happen at Gamescom but again, I don't see the slim costing anything over 299.
and they're out buying a PS3.
This is a prime example of why reviews should be viewed as they really are...opinion.
Don't let someone who may or may not like the same type of game you like be the judge.
Hell no.
I won't even pay 70 dollars cdn for a game which is the price of a new game here.
I'd wait for a used copy if I wanted it bad enough.
Zing!
No surprise there.
Makes sense to me Bobby.
You're a marketing genius!
I wish I had the skills to do that to mine.
