Sekiro is way faster that ghost of tsushima...so is bloodbourne actually. Ghost of Tsu is more like assassins creed or even more so like batman or spiderman but with a sword.
In 2023, soulsbourne combat is still the king.
In sekiro you could only use a sword? I'm not a fan of being a monkey myself but i'll give it a shot. Sekiro kept it fresh enough with the sword only.
FF16 only has a sword too.

The pacing in the game is slow and you're right, the show tells it way better. It improved basically everything. Although I'm one of the few who liked Bill and Frank in the game way more. Felt the show forced that whole ep and liked the games version more. The backstory was handled waaay better too in the show

I think most games are like that these days, especially popular ones, in my experience. Assuming your mostly a single player gamer if uncharted 2 multiplayer is the last one you liked. Not a fan battle royale? I'm playing cod cold war(as it was free on ps+) ans surprisingly the starter weapons and load outs are just as good as any mostly.
Likewise, fortnight, rocket league, apex etc etc all skill based. The games are out there for sure.

Insomniac play the entire thing safe. Not only do they slightly rehash spider man stories, they rehashed batman arkham gameplay too.
You need to expect 0 innovation from either sony or ms first party games. For the longest time they have been driving away from new experiences. Leave it to third parties to innovate first, then sony will repackage a game and make it their "own".
Consensus is it is up there, possibly one of the top tier ff stories.

Looks like fallout 3 in space, not even fallout 4. Graphics are good though especially lighting, animations are particularly Last gen but eh who cares. Combat looks atrocious as always, you'd think with the slayings of action rogs over rhe last 8 years Bethesda would try improve the combat by now.
