What if you only buy one console at $400 for the generation that last 6 to 7 years instead of your $1000 PC + two $300 upgrades to play the exact same games? It is a huge difference in price. Rubbish it looks better on the PS4. Comparing a $5000 to $15000 super computer to $400 to $500 games console is an unfair comparison.
To make it a fairer comparison select a $500 to $1000 computer/laptop and use that for a comparison. For its price a game console plays most games better than a PC priced under $1000.
Most gamers can not afford $5000 to $15000 computer to play video games.
It is struggling to sell consoles. I am surprised it actually sold 1 million in its first week, 500,000 more than I expected. XBox One sales will drop off when PS4 supplies increase. People are buying XBox One and then sell/trade it in for a PS4.
1TB, 2TB or 3TB+ external HDDs should be allowed as storage back up devices. Knowing Microsoft they may make force you to buy expensive Microsoft HDDs like they did for the XBox 360. PS3 offered gamers more choice to replace their HDDs with cheap larger third party HDDs.
