People on here are mainly X360 or Wii owners pretending they care about PS3. Hardly anyone buys PS3. Its sales are very low in comparison to X360 and Wii.

The console numbers can easily be obtained directly from manufacturers because shipped numbers are made known to public. If you want retail sales well it would be below the shipped numbers.
NPD has access to 70% of all data which it uses for its numbers. 30% are from Walmart sales which are never released to anyone. These numbers have to be guessed by tracking sites based on projections. NP...
MS should forget about PS3. When they trash talk PS3 they are actually promoting it. Consumer backlash may buy PS3 instead of X360.

No publicity from MS in regards to its opposition (PS3 and Wii) is the way they should approach things in the future.
Wiis price will only drop when sales drop off a bit. Then expect a $50 price cut, my guess that will occur in 2010 or 2011. 4 or 5 years at the same price would be an excellent achievement for Wii.

I believe FFXIII exclusive DLC will push X360 sales in NA and Europe at make up a little ground on the FXIII PS3 exclusivity in Japan region. PS3 will hold onto FFXIII sales edge over X360 but exclusive DLC for X360 in FFXIII will draw more western gamers to X360

Apple is taking away Microsoft's market share dominance for Home OS. MS Windows is falling towards 90% market share. MS is green with envy mainly due to Apple's success more so than Sony. Apple is doing well with IMac, Ipod and Iphone rake in heaps of money for Apple. Sony has taken a battering as of late with PSP and PS3 sales down on year on year sales.
