PS3 can still sell over 100 million console systems. Only 18 million systems to reach that total and that is a 4.5 million average over the next 4 years. 6 million average over the next 3 years to reach 100 million is a stretch considering sales of PS3 will continue to drop off over time as PS4 sales continue to grow.
MGS 4 was a good game if you skipped those long cut scenes. MGS 4 cut scenes explain a complex story and referenced the previous games in the story, hard to follow if MGS4 is the only MGS game you have played.
Boring games like Half Life 2 last generation and Bioshock this generation get high reviews for being too linear, too easy and so unoriginal. B-Grade plot in a shooter game receiving high critical reviews is a joke.
Produce quality games like Uncharted series, The Last of Us or GTA V or do not bother. Who cares if Half Life 3 gets released or not. Half Life 3 may be quality like Duke Nukem Forever delivered 15 years after it was supposed to be released.

PS4 in 2015 or 2016 when there are a good line up of available top end exclusive game including Uncharted 4 and 5, God of War 5, Final Fantasy XV, GTA 6. By 2015/16 the PS4 could see its first price cut.

Half Life 2 is one of the most over rated games. Maybe Half Life 3 will not be released because Valve fears it will get bad reviews and then have low sales. I liked Portal and Portal 2 a lot more than Half Life 2 and its two Episodes.
There has been a 7 year wait since Episode 2 released and gamers are still waiting for the conclusion of Episodes. 2014 marks the 10th year anniversary of Half Life 2. Half Life 2 now looks dated in comparison to modern shooters.

Price 360/PS3 games at $40 for new releases. Price the PS4/XBox One games at $60 for new releases. Pretty simple but the developers do not make things easy.

Exclusive games and Low resolution multi-platform games and catching up on unfinished or yet to purchase games on XBox 360/PS3 will still keep gamers happy.
TLOU is a 8 to 15 hour play through depending if you play it on easy, medium or hard. Take longer if you play multiplayer or bother with the collectibles and getting the trophies.
Grand Theft Auto V not as good a game as TLOU but GTA V offers a lot of replay value with all the side missions, multiplayer and crazy stuff you can do in a GTA V. GTA V DLC is expected to keep it going for some time until GTA VI releases in 3 or 4 years on 8th generation consoles.

I want to see more consumers buying PS4 instead of XBox One and Wii U. Trading in your XBone and Wii U towards a PS4 is a good move. PS4 wants 70% market share this generation.
I am waiting 2 years for a good library of exclusive games to arrive including at least 1 main title in the big game series before purchasing an 8th generation console. I want to see the PS4 with 10 AAA rating 90%+ exclusive games that I want to buy plus a price cut.
