That's mainly the problems i have with Bethesda's games. The lore in the games, even in the books found in the game is not something to write about.
Yet, they're still being praised to infinity.
Hmm, i can understand why people would be salty. Being defeated by a diabled gamer, as a perfectly normal person, would be a pretty hard thing to handle. :P
Yeah, i'm hoping that's what he meant. :) I hope we don't get another empty playground, such as Skyrim.
Dark Souls influence ruffled a few carebears back when Witcher 2 released, so i doubt that'll happen again.
New game or a collection of games? Hmm..
The Xbox 360 players were just introduced to The Witcher, and Playstation fans don't even know it exists. Both camps would most likely shrug it off.
The main market for their games, which is what supported them so far, will always be on PC.
And that's where you're wrong. If this continues (and it did) games are being made with this in mind. That means the players not purchasing, will be the ones getting the wrong end of the shaft.
In my opinion, the fact that you can pay to unlock diminishes the value of the game.
One character can't save the game, though.
I hope they kept the map in Witcher 3, but it'll obviously be larger than the one from Witcher 2.
It wasn't holding your hand as much as other games.
I thought Hard was pretty easy when i played at release, so i'll probably do the same with Witcher 3.
People can definitely wait for a game, but a generation is a pretty long time. It's more sad than anything else.
It's on the level of Duke Nukem currently, same goes for HL3.
As much as people are in denial, you're pretty much right. Valve haven't made their own games in quite some time now, and i can't see that changing anytime soon.
Time shouldn't be an issue to shove in Microtransactions either. It may take longer before some unlocks the content, but that's how it should be anyways.
With time comes more responsibilities in life, and you have to value your priorities.
Cosmetic ones i have no problem with, but anything else is a problem.
Not enough facepalms in the world, for the runner up. How anyone would even consider that..
Or people can simply stream something, which is actually gaming. Ustream and Justin still welcomes those not following the rules.
Twitch has a very simple set of rules, so i don't see the problem here.
If gaming is to evolve, they at least have to cut down on the cutscenes. It's a poisoning trend over the years now, and i'm quite honestly tired of it as well.
Some cutscenes, some things told during gameplay. Focusing too much on cutscenes makes it worse to me.
Problem is that the majority is, which is what got us in a lot of situations.
For all we know, Wardevil could've been another game with great ideas, but poor execution.
Anyways, maybe someone will ressurect it later.
But EA said it was MS's fault, and the other way around. The blame keeps passing on. :)
