No, the leveling system in Skyrim should not be used in all RPG's. It's definitely not a good one.

You mean that you trusted them before? :)

One of the mentioned reboots weren't a reboot, but a complete makeover. Many issues came from the developer as well.

Resident Evil is holding on to the final straw atm, and i doubt it's ever going to come back. Mainly due to the generation we live in, which expects games like RE 5 and 6.

Thanks to RE4, this is where it headed.

Starcraft: Ghost may never happen, but you can always hope. :)

Obviously they're going to cash in at launch, then later on turn it over to ''F2P''. This is pretty much standard in the MMO market, except for a select few.

Halting development on the new game is ridiculous, if that's what's happening. Release the new game first, then do Gears afterwards.

If their intention is multiple games, switch between the two IP's.

As long as they stick to their roots, i'll keep rooting for them as well. I'd hate to see them sell out, just like another developer.

Either way, Witcher 3 for 2014 and Cyberpunk 2077 (2016 seems most likely to me) RPG fans will have some good titles those years. :)

My hope is that CDPR doesn't become a bloated developer, with unrealistic expecations as well. As long as they stay on the right path, i'll support them.

They don't even spend 50 - 100 millions on their games, which is impressive with their quality.

I'd gladly use an emulator for 360 titles. I have quite a collection myself, including some games that'll never be ported to PC.

Last of Us is a great Action-Survival game, but i wouldn't call it Horror. It's just one of those games where tags aren't fitting.

I would count out Deadly Premonition from 2013 as well, since it's just a re-release. Maybe mods will some day change the game for the better.

The most interesting part seems to be a respec. Unless the item functions differently, then that's pretty surprising.

When i think of memorable soundtracks, i usually go back to titles like Bioshock.

I have to admit though, there are less soundtracks standing out now. More or less the same in typical action games.

I haven't bothered changing yet, so i'm still using the original Kone mouse. :)

I don't regret that purchase.

Yeah, the previews of this game speaks ill of it, and i can see why some design decisions makes it a worse experience.

The herd won't realize that before playing it.

I've seen the models in the game as well, and i've seen the plastic-looking characters in other games. It just looks bad, compared to games making them look more human.

I'm not even going to argue about the ''children'', because it's a lost cause in that community.

Anders was a pretty terrible example in DA2, and i still dislike what they did to him. I agree with you about it being lazy and poor, and i don't really expect much from the ressurected Bioware.

The rarity system reminds me of what True Achievements/Trophies use, and also Raptr amongst other sites i don't know. At least Sony took the time to implement that idea, while MS ignored it and gives achievements for watching shows. :)

http://raptr.com/game/Devil... That's just one example, from when i were hunting achievements myself.

My memory is pretty much hit and miss most of the time, but i'm avoiding Bethesda mainly because of beta tester issues. These issues i expect in MMO games, but other games isn't off the hook that easily.

Basically, it's a quality issue. Not to mention that Bethesda haven't always been a fan of fan projects, and in some cases took them down.

I fully expect Shinji's team to deliver a enjoyable experience.

Normally i refuse to purchase games from certain companies, but games like The Evil Within is sadly published by them. I want to see a return of the Horror genre, and so i wish to support Shinji Mikami.

People can easily tell someone to take a stance against EA, for example, but it's a small piece of a large puzzle. A large piece will believe anything companies say, and then there's the impulse purchase etc.
