Lucy O'Brien works for IGN as has no credibility. She has done some aweful reviews. Very close minded. Hex is from Australian TV show Good Game. Again I find her opinions on games are often way off, not that I have watched the show enough to really know.

@Jaqen_Hghar A man has good taste ;) I didn't include Resogun as I count it as an indie/downloadable so it goes on its own list. I forgot about The Order 1886. Really enjoyed that game, still have to play it again and try out the photo mode.

@Moldiver Yep, lots of good games you mention there. Second Son was good, just not compared to the previous games for their time. Hotline Miami is one of my favourite Indies, great music. I like Styx too, reminds me of old Tenchu and Theif games. And how could I forget Shadow of Mordor, awesome game, definitely fits in my list there somewhere ;)
@ninsigma Haven't got around to Ori, looks cool though. I only count full games though, Indies get their own list. Don't get me wrong, plenty of great Indies but not fair to compare Indies to full retail releases.

Yes Bloodborne! The Witcher 3 looks great and I look forward to it but Bloodborne is amazing and is the game to beat gen so far.

Nice read. I agree, the game is very addictive. I am half way through NG+ and am still finding new little things. So many secrets to discover.
I can sympathise about lack of time. Try adding kids into the equation.
I have little to no excitement for this now. No single player just doesn't interest me. Same with Evolve and Titanfall. All cool looking games but I want a story, I don't really do mp.
Yep. $30 to unlock the krypt. So $75 for 4 characters and to unlock the krypt. That's more expensive than purchasing the "full" game.

Great article. I wish more reviewers had mentioned just how terrible the DLC and micro-trans in this game are. It's even worse in Australia. $45 for the Kombat Pack? I only paid $69 for the game, how is $45 reasonable for 4 characters?
I think will be returning this game and will pick up a second hand copy of the komplete edition some time in the future.

Only $30, seems pretty reasonable, a lot of work went into making that patch.
I'm not sure why some people seem to think mp games have more replay value than single player games? They are just as repetitive aren't they? Isn't it more about whether the gameplay is fun and varied enough rather than if its sp or mp?
The krypt isn't a bad idea but they overcost everything and make it a chore/grindfest to unlock everything in order to get people to shell out another $20 for the lame micro transactions. Greed, pure and simple.
Because she gets it wrong too often. She didn't like Bloodborne for example.
