I disagree, Mutant Mudds Deluxe and Mighty Switch Force! 2 are awesome additions to the eShop. Plus, Sonic the Hedgehog and Columns for Game Gear are solid titles.
Mario Kart 8 is one of the most gorgeous games I've ever laid eyes on. That game will be a lot of fun to play next Spring!
Just because Namco is helping with development doesn't mean Pac-Man is a lock for the game. Mega Man is on the list, and I didn't want to include too many third party characters, because honestly, this is a Nintendo game at heart.
I haven't managed to beat the game yet, but I'm close. I love the game, as well, definitely an underrated NES game.
I agree, I often feel the same way. Modern games just don't compare to anything from the 80s/90s. Feels like I'm playing a guided experience rather than a video game.
I agree, they might be surprised to find a fun, challenging experience.
I'm not sure they'll do that. It looks like Nintendo is re-releasing all the Virtual Console titles they did on the Wii and to a lesser extent, the 3DS. Besides Earthbound, I don't see many truly new VC titles for a long time.
I hope I'm wrong.
Nothing besides Animal Crossing on Sunday, very lame, I agree.
I also love the deals that Nintendo and third-party publishers have been offering to its fans. You can get both those Capcom titles for under 9 bucks, that is a steal, especially considering you can get Mega Man X for $4.
If you're in North America, they won't be up until later this afternoon. They are readily available in Europe/Australia right now though.
The Nintendo Download press release is released in the morning, but the actual updates don't go live until Thursday afternoon.
It's awesome to see Nintendo do provide value like this, hopefully, they'll do more of it in the future.
Not necessarily, well, not if you're saving them for a second list ;)
Funny thing is, I'd take what they think are their B games over their AAA games any day.
Punch-Out! already made its comeback on Wii!
I did, actually, which is the number one reason I didn't include it on the list.
Both of which are great choices.
I'm interested, so I may pick the title up to review sometime soon.
These can be compared to those titles that are nice to have on a console, definitely not system sellers, but nice padding to round out a library.
Look at that shit eating grin... Looking forward to the sequel, thought Hotline Miami kicked ass.
