Thanks, haha. I've always wanted to do something like this, but integrating something such as sound with gameplay, and so on is difficult to me. Hopefully I'll get better, and I can help a few people who are on the edge about getting non-blockbuster games such as this. Yes, the story is great. It's one of those things where you'd rather play the game again with a memory wipe, just so you could experience it again through virgin eyes.

14 days before the initial release seems like a nearly completed game to me. As long as the mechanics and game play are spot on, it will be fine. I won't judge on polishing knowing that it is still a demo and that there might be time to work out bugs or issues. However, being this close to the release date shows that most of what is going to be in the game, will be included in the demo.

Ikr? I actually wanted to get back into the series around 2009-2010, yet the comments of the hardcore fanbase put me off on getting it. The addition of a new physics based engine has actually peaked my interest enough to actually look and see if it's going to be any good. I'm a football fan, yet I didn't want to buy any Madden game unless it was going to add something fresh and exciting into an otherwise stale somewhat copy&paste series.

This is what will be the decision if I get back into the Madden series since Madden 06.

I think I should be the one getting paid to be a journalist eh?

Anyways, get *dat* DA Complete Editon for $20, and you can PM me later :D. Warning though, it's true to its roots, and is extremely difficult if not played by an RPG gamer that knows what he/she 's doing. Other than that the rest is a complete blast.

The 360 version works amazingly well, I hadn't yet known that Dragon Age: Origins was out for the PC, because I had bought it a year or two after it was released with little insight into what it was. It might have had technical issues/bugs in the early run, but the fully patched game I got played without a hitch. It's going to be better on the PC, but they didn't skimp out at all when making the console version just as enjoyable. I personally recommend you to get the Complete Edit...

Dragon Age: Origins? If he knew about how old school western RPG's on the PC's were before that, he might just understand Dragon Age: Origins is one of the best current gen oldschool RPG's to date. Heck, it's one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of sinking 60 hours into.

Honorable mention to Stephen Rippy with Insignificantia (All Sloppy/No Joe), maybe even Spirit of Fire. Although I really believe Jesper Kyd's Ezio's Family should be in there.

Agreed, I remember in Indigo Prophecy where cutscenes/cinematics actually drew the player into the game instead of throwing the player back into reality. However, the difference between that game then and an odd assortment of others today, is the fact that a cutscene was only needed when it was actually needed. Games today tend to lean toward, "Hey! Let's watch this 5 minute action movie in this game you just bought for gameplay!"

How is this a lame excuse for anything when this is what the entire story is about? If we were thrown into the first game in Altair's shoes, wouldn't you ask yourself, "Why am I here right now?" You'd basically be going after the Apple of Eden but for absolutely no reason at all, other than to get it from evil men who want to rule the world. You wouldn't know that the Templar's are still an organization during modern times still trying to achieve world domination...

How does $20 for 12 players sound good?! Honestly I doubt the cost too model the characters justifies the price. $5 would have been the better option, with the amount of people who bought/play the game, if even half of those people bought it at $5 you'd still make a justifiable profit without to much risk. If I wanted to spend $20, I could buy an arcade game off of XBL or PSN or even a full game on Steam for less than $20. No DLC without adding at least 5-10 hours of game play is correctl...

It's still here, I enjoy playing the Total War series so much. The mods for each one keep it fresh, and the Third Age Total War mod for Medieval Total War II (Based off the LotR) has kept me busy for weeks. Continuous DLC for Shogun Total War II adds days of game play and makes it feel like a new game each time you run it. Games like Tropico and Sim City can have you invested in spending time building and sustaining massive cities for weeks/days as well. When Rome Total War II comes out a...

How is it confusing since anytime you buy Microsoft points your told how much that total of points cost? If 4000 MS costs $50 then you know 800 MS points cost $10 it's simple math. When you spend those points your shown A) How many points you'll have left later, and B) You can even change the payment type to see how much money it would cost in real currency. Besides it's mostly used for those who are unable to pay for add-ons /DLC because the don't own PayPal/Credit Card.

Whoa, whoa, whoa wait, so you're telling me that a game with GORE and FATALITIES was allowed to be played by a child who's 16? Doesn't Gamstop/Every major game retailer warn you about the product your about to buy for your UNDERAGE child?

“I’ve no doubt that it’s because of the amount of time he spent playing Mortal Kombat,” she added. “He would sit there for hours, even days. Being exposed to that incorrectly spelt title screen over and over again is bound to hav...

During and before Burning Crusade, raids took an intense amount of planning with trial and error. Most raids would need for the raiding party to have a certain amount of classes to buff/debuff allies/enemies, and others to act as tanks. Even when the planning was done, you'd need a correct set of armor and a weapon to counter what was inside. Although I do agree with you after the Burning Crusade, raiding took no skill and most of it was done with aggro. It used to be pretty fun, but afte...

Ezio's Family is the best song he's composed IMO. Loved free running on rooftops to that song.

Someone with all mystic powers that can accomplish things no actual being can do is something most people can't relate to. A man however, who is a bounty hunter that relies on his equipment/tools/weapons/intell igence, and is given a disadvantage to an engagement because he's just a regular human can give people someone to connect too. He's just a regular guy, with morals/problems everyone else deals with. If his equipment fails, you have to think, "What would I do in his sit...

It's not about the jumpscare, it's about the buildup/tension. Collecting more pages leads to a more unsettling background track, which in turn caused fear and anxiety that Slender could pop out at any time. Hence why Amnesia was so popular, you never knew when something would lurk out of the shadows and touch you.
