What's too say that something doesn't happen 200+ years down the line? Do you think that FDR or Churchill would believe the world would still have armed conflicts after two world wars? I'm certain they wouldn't, but it does.

I just wish that for once some developer would be able to capture what was Aliens and put it into video game format. While I like the idea of survival horror set in the Alien franchise, this just comes off to me as Amnesia in space.
While not necessarily a bad thing in its own right, I'm certain anyone who has seen Aliens wants to partake in a squad of Xeno killing, smart mouthed, name taking marines. Maybe I'm asking for to much in this day and age of keeping it safe...
One of the coolest moments in the Halo universe was the last stand of Admiral Preston Cole. He stockpiled an enormous amount of ammunition on his flagship, attacked a Covenant fleet of around 700 with only 300 ships. He then managed to get in between the Covenant forces, flew into a gravity well, blew himself, the planet, and the entire Covenant fleet to dust while causing no harm to his own.

Wait, what? You're telling me that Microsoft is forcing developers to add in Kinect support for their games? If this was so true, or certain, a game like Call of Duty would have Kinect features added on. It's the DEVELOPERS CHOICE to add features, the likes of which you just said, to THEIR product. Besides, I would have never guessed that having two different ways to play a game would be detrimental to the core experience. What if that one person does like to shout spells at the Kinec...

Agreed! I'm most excited to see what they do with the campaign in terms of enemy AI. I don't know any FPS that has come close to the original Halo's AI, and it released in 2001. Every game now-a-days has enemies that seem to either stand outside of cover, or wildly run in and act like bullet sponges.
