It may sell for £40 in UK 17.5% is vat so thats about £6 the goverment gets that, the shop will have their cut,then production cost maketing etc payment to Sony & MS so how moch does R* actually get per game sold £5/6 TOPS MAYBE so more like 10m copies to break even if it cost £50M/$100M to make.

You think for $100m the game characters would have looked next gen rather than LAST GEN or am I the only person NOT ACTUALLY impressed by how this game LOOKS. Dont get me wrong the backdrops look great but I really think the characters LOOK BELOW AVERAGE for what the PS3 & 360 can do! and compared to what we have seen in other games, Uncharted for example.

first batch of PS3's were way below that less than 1% was quoted so if the 40G model has a normal failure rate of 3-4% than it would seem a lot more than the early PS3's but even then that would still be far better than the 16-33% failure rate of the 360 depending on who's figures you go by on that!!!! between drive failures(scratches) and the good old RROD!.
