I am as well. They do not own any IPs from my understanding...
I tend to wait a generation, you can buy a 360 with 30 games for a couple hundred. My brothers doing the same, except he is on Sega Genesis.

Switch sales might start slowing down for the new Switch in the coming weeks. This will be because people will hold out and I'm sure Nintendo will move more resources limiting supply.

Didn't the Wii have an ethernet port? I also enjoy the small amount of space, means Nintendo is sticking to games on cartridges.. not licenses.
Either way $50 extra is a steal. Too bad you won't find any under $600 at launch. Scalped to the high heavens.

PS4 console was the worst, hands down. Every game bought had to be 100% installed and there was constant updates. The XMB was slow as shit and honestly not intuitive at all.
PS3>PS2>PS5>PS1>P S4
The PS5 is off to a great start with the lightening speed.
You won't need to. No one on here wanted to support DLC when it was starting in the mid 2000's, yet it caught on. No one was supporting paid content behind paywalls, but then it caught on. No one was supporting battlepasses, until they became the norm. No one wanted something like Gamepass, Xcloud, or PSNow to become the norm, but slowly and surely they are. No one will support ads until someone makes a great game and you cannot get past them.
PS3 was one of the best consoles ever. My favorite GTA, birth of Uncharted, Resistance, Last of Us, Modern Warefare, and others I cannot remember.
Switch is fun, but the memories are not the same. I was able to play Mario Party when stranded at the airport with my battlebuddies. That was fun.
The only games I mentioned were free. What difference does a MNTDEW add in a Forza game make?
Try playing Fortnite and Warzone without loading or lobby screens. Even on PS8, there will be wait time buddy.
You already wait for loading screens, why jot throw an ad in there. Support your game developers.
