That’s not true at all. After 9/11, over 90% of the people wanted to go to war. George Bushes approval rating skyrocketed. It was years later (probably after Bin Ladin) that people thought we should leave. To this day, George Bush has the highest ever approval rating for a sitting president … even if it wasn’t long lived.
…. Elden Ring was the only big quality release… Sifu wasn’t a big release and Dying Light was subpar or average at best. Gran Turismo is for car enthusiasts. Horizon is the only other big release to come out recently. Stop pumping sunshine when the next-gen consoles are still barren.
I meant good games.
That’s the fortunes of releasing a game in a timeframe no other game is out, next gen systems that have no games atm, linking your game with a high profile writer, and it being rated as one of the greatest.
It also helped to build the Souls base since Demon Souls.
Probably true, I can’t think of an long term acquisition that didn’t move away. Microsoft buying Rare was the most famous and the team members went back to Nintendo.
They can buy the IPs but will the talent stay?
This proves that the majority don’t give a shit about specs. Going to be the best selling console of all time once everything is said and done. If not, the PS2 reigns which was underpowered compared to the Xbox. PS3 was the most powerful console of that generation, biggest PlayStation console flop.
The general public doesn’t care about your specs.
I’ve never played because it was on the GameCube. Unfortunately, there is a lot I missed on that cube box. I’d say the Wii U was the only low point in the 3D Plumbers arsenal.
Only video game character to survive every generation with a better title coming out each gen. Simple arcade games to excellent masterpiece’s 40 years later.
That’s what I thought. Haven’t bought, but watched hours of gameplay and came to the same conclusion
Days Gone says otherwise. I’d take a Days Gone 2 over another Horizon.
Does PSTV still allow PSNOW?
Just wait until the normal reviewers get their copy. The overall will drop. Excited for this game btw
I see meta at 97, I can’t imagine this holds up past release. I would assume it drops to 94/95.
The difference is that PS2 games took 1-2 years to release. They made 2 PS2 games and 2 PSP. Those had short development times. Now we are getting 5+ years as a standard.
Even if PS5s were in good supply, I can’t see it topping Switch for long periods of time. The Switch is just so highly consistent
Way to copy what Dan Houser said and make it your opinion. You didn’t have this as an original thought until you said it and made it clickbait.
I wouldn’t mind if Sony bought, but they take forever to put their games on PSNOW. Atleast Microsoft is timely.
Sounds like it’s Nintendo’s cloud system. They should work with Microsoft to make it better.
I wanted to say, what about Series S… but I refrained
