Actually I really like these type of games and it looks great. It's not going to be as nice as a triple "A" game but still looks good and game play also looks solid.
This would be cool. I wonder why they didn't come out with the game. unless it was supposed to be a tech demo. The PS5 should definitely be able to play it at what was shown from prior.
Just because people hate something doesn't mean it's not going to sell. Sometimes controversy actually increases sales because of all the chatter around a game. People want to see what all the fuss is about. Especially if your one of the millions that played the first game. Not surprised it sold well and I'm glad it was a success for the studio.
Great looking mech. I like how you can reconfigure it from light to heavy.
Agree, they used to be really good at bringing some big surprises, but this current gen has been a fizzle compared two the prior gens. I'm hoping what we've seen or know about is just the tip of the iceberg. Hopefully they will channel some of that past spirit and change that conversation.
@ spinesaw, I really think it's not as important to MS on the numbers of how many consoles they sell. I look at Gamepass, it's basically like spreading your bets. Your not putting all your eggs into one basket. They still need to sell well enough, but don't have to beat the competition in the category of most consoles sold. They just need to sell a boatload of Gamepasses.
Lots of non fans trying to down play it. Also I would think some people might of expected more from a teaser and we're disappointed.
Looks like Rockstar has some competition.....Thank God.
Glad to hear Phil having confidence in what they are going to show. Hoping that it'll exceed our expectations.
Really hoping they bring the thunder.
Good to have the Brutes back.
Glad to see the Brutes back.
Not surprised, Remember GameSpots Jeff Gerstmann was fired for giving a bad review on a take-two title.
Last I checked it was killing it in sales. It's portable and in a unique segment of the market. People buy Nintendo primarily for their games. I don't see them lowering the price.
The switch is a juggernaut and during the pandemic it actually increased sales.
They'd be smart to sell it. I know alot of pc gamers, video editors and anyone with large storage needs that would love the speeds that it would bring.
I'm a little on the fence in terms of how much of an impact this will have up front. But the tech is cool and a huge leap in ssd performance. I'm curious to see if Sony will come out for the ssd drive for the PCs and laptops. They could do really well in the market
Depends on the type of game. Do you think this would be as beautiful if this was a fast twitch game? Plus the title says "of all time" so that means past, present and future.
I did say of this generation, so that is present tense.
As for comparing to future games, that just logical. This gen coming up is different than past ones, in terms of developers coming to grips with the technology. They are going to be running out of the gate this generation with stunning ...
Agree, looking forward to those under the radar gem type of games from both consoles. You know since the beginning of this current generation their have been some really good games that weren't the big titles and I enjoyed them immensely. Looks like this coming gen will keep the flow of good games acoming
