So we're taking rumor over fact now? What they put out is a rumor, what Nvidia said about cutting edge chips and building the Switchs chips from the ground-up are facts. Nvidia even stated that there is 500 man years of research and engineering in the switchs chips. Go ahead and keep spreading false rumors you troll.

No way that it's gonna flop, this thing has generated more buzz (without knowing everything about it) than the Wii U has done in its entire lifetime.
He didn't "shoot down" plans for the Switch. They're doing the obvious EA move where they wait to see how Nintendos console sells before they commit to it.
So we're not going to follow the actual facts that we have and go for rumors only (at least only negative rumors)? Bethestha released a statement about how they wouldn't work on it, unless it was at least on par with Xbone, and we've seen skyrim on it. Nvidia said that it's based on their top of the line hardware.
I think being cautious with this was a smart move, look at when they overproduced Wii U's they were sitting on tons of them for a long time.
I expect it to cost more, cause it definitely has quality control, you won't see me buying it though.
Obviously they are "better than the rest" when they're breaking records.

That might be when I become officially done with new games. I'm not a fan of buying digital licenses that can be revoked at any time by the seller of said license.
What I'm getting from this is that he is looking to put out more entries in both this evening series.
I enjoyed star fox zero, took me less than 10 minutes to master the controls. I do hope that the next game is more like assault with being able to get out of ships, etc. They need to just add co-op and online, and up the multiplayer.

I'm the opposite myself, super excited for the Wii, (and loved it) meh to the reveal of Wii U (but enjoyed what I got), and I feel pretty positive for the Switch, the rumors from reputable sources seem to paint a positive picture (if they are to be believed)
They just need third party support in general, it's sad that even casual games like Cartoon Network whatever, and the such skipped over the Wii U.
I hope they're DVD size cases, or at least blu-ray size.
They sent in a request to konami to officially do it.
If the switch was barely better than the Wii U, then besthesda would not work on it. They stated long ago that they wouldn't put out anything on the Wii U due to weak hardware, so this has to be better than that, by a lot. Also, the fact that they are working with Nintendo has to show that this thing has some juice, they didn't even work on the Wii when that was tearing everything else apart.
Plus, this chipset isn't going to be a slightly tweaked version of an ...
