Things like this give me a bit more hope for the system.
Hardware is not outdated, it's just not a powerhouse.
No raw power doesn't equate to when specific chipsets/hardware are made. Using that logic, all consoles are outdated as pcs can be built way more powerful than any console. Hell if we wanna go farther, I guess that's outdated too since the government has supercomputers.
Either that or bundle with a joy con like Wii play. Even if it raises the price a bit I'd feel more inclined (if I wanted the game) to buy a bundle with it and two joy cons for 100 - 120 bucks. I know that's a lot. But it's a lot of tech crammed into those controllers.
Hopefully so, it will be a big plus in my book if we can use hardrives (as I already have one lol). It's still pitiful that the internal memory is 32 GB (was pretty bad for Wii U lol) though I haven't even filled up my hard drive or internal memory on my Wii U.
I'm just not into using micro SD cards (though I'd still prob get one) as I've had problems with them before.
Same here. They've totally proven themselves. They've made great games for the Wii U and now the Switch and pushes the system more than AAA developers. Nintendo should either buy them (if they are willing to be bought) or contract them to make a new F-Zero.
That's why it's hard to take these kinds of things seriously. Maybe there's not a lot of japenese developers on the survey.
Rumors are that they have certain games done/close to done. I'm thinking they wanna space out their releases just enough as to not burn out players and to not cannibalize on their sales. Think of if they had both Mario and Zelda out at the same time (arguably two of their most critically acclaimed/selling games) they would likely take a chunk out of one or the others sales.
At least that's my take on it. I know it would be one or the other for me, and they look like hig...
Definitely, 1,2 Switch should be a pack in game. Though Reggie hinted that they didn't include that game in the package as they would've raised the price another 50 bucks (as that's how much it is) it should at least come with joy-cons or something extra to justify its price like Wii play did.
Yep, currently it is. I suppose they are holding a good bit (and surprises) for E3, since it's only 3 months or so from there. Reggies latest interview hinted at mother 3 and Metroid.
How? They release games, damn fine ones at that. Sure they have misfires with raw power, and a few of their 1st party titles, but the majority of them go on to become timeless classics. If you don't like their games, fine. But you can't deny the quality.

Just to give you guys an idea of first month shipments, Reggie just said that they will have 2 million consoles shipped for the first month (march)
Well appearently they do, Reggie just released a statement saying they read all the comments in forums and the such lmao.
Just look at the dudes face at the small EA presentation. It was like "man I don't wanna be here" lmao.
If it is true, it totally fits EA's, "unprecedented partnership" lmao.
No consoles "need" a bundled game, though it's always great to have them. Though not bundling 1-2 Switch seems like a mistake, it just looks like a game that is suppose to come with the system.
The "third pillar" lol.
All entertainment companies do that, genius. How many times have movies been rereleased with better quality or more features. How many times do bands put out the same album with better quality?
Yeah, def gave off a sonic 06' feel, though I don't think it'll be a bad game lol.
More than likely, I could do without that in the normal controller, though I thought it's 10 bucks more than a regular controller. Looks like third party controller with be used.
I think it may become one of the next gaming standards along with VR, etc. As it is def the next gen of rumble tech. It sounds like it's pretty cool, and people who have had hands on with it have said that it works really well, I'm curious myself.
@Muzik Yeah! Especially when the tech is from at the very very least 2013, though it's based on leading mobile gaming tech by Nvidia.
