Wow that's stupid. What's so deluxe about that? May as well released the extra content as dlc for the Wii U.
Now if the smash port doesn't add much content, but combines the Wii U and 3DS versions, I think that might be worth getting.
Everything that they've done always "means the end of Nintendo" makes me think that back in the late 1800s when they started making playing cards, if cowboys were like "man these cards aren't too good, can't wait for them to start making them for other companies!"

I guess they wanted to try and Switch it up! (See what I did there!) but yeah, it wasn't that good. I wouldn't mind if they kept it as a seperate mode.
I feel as though they had battle mode (and the extra characters/stages) ready for dlc (as Iwata stated something about making more dlc for 8) but then had the idea to just port 8 with the extra crap as a deluxe edition for the Switch.

I can totally agree with the ones that are making points that are actual criticisms and not flat out trolling. There's a difference between criticizing their online, the prices of certain accessories (especially the dock), as people can see I've done myself in my comment history.
But when I see the same people go and just downright troll, like "Nintendo sucks", "outdated hardware" "nintendoom", "Nintendo should go third party"...
I'm thinking they've saved some big games for E3 since that is only about 3 months from the launch. They don't usually (and yes I said usually) announce games that are too far away. Zelda is the only game of theirs that regularly gets delayed. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Xenoblade (the non japenese version) gets delayed too, but luckily they've finally done away with region-locking.

Inflation, 250$ in 06 is 299.30 in 16. Though I can see why people could be put off by the price. It does have a lot of fancy tech pushed into the controllers and console itself. Though I'm very surprised at no pack in game, especially since 1 2 Switch was made to be its pack in game. I can see that game having pretty abyssmal sales at its current price point.
If we're paying for online, smash better not be laggy. Even though it wasn't as bad as brawls online, it was still pretty damn laggy.
