There will never be a big online community for Wii U games. The online infrastructure is worse than the original Xbox Live that came out in 2002. Only two games I can see myself playing online for Wii U, Smash Bros. and Mario Kart. Nintendo really dropped the ball with online gaming.
I own a Wii U and find the second screen to be more of a distraction. I just don't see the major innovation with it yet, I'm looking for Nintendo to wow me this E3 with it's first party games, which will be the only games worth purchasing once the new Xbox and Playstation come out.
Decrypt, console gamers don't care about graphics? I'm sure that may be true for Nintendo fanboys like yourself, but for the majority of console gamers, graphics are important. The Wii was so popular because it was the first console to implement motion controls. The Wii U doesn't have the same wow factor that the Wii had, the controller is a gimmick that will not catch on.
Also, the online infrastructure on the Wii U is worse than current generation consoles....
I'd be very surprised, yet extremely happy if PS4 came out a month before 720. That would be huge for Sony. Regardless I will be getting both at launch, better start filling up the piggy bank!
Having 6 gigs of GDDR5 is not possible, trust me when I say 4 gigs of GDDR5 ram is a boat load. They will most likely have some cheap DDR3 ram for the OS as well, this is definitely better than I thought the PS4 would be.
This game is the best Final Fantasy in my opinion, this is one hell of a reason for myself to get a Vita. Only thing holding me back is money.
Hingle, the sad part is that there are two people so far that agree with his logic! Maybe gaming can be hazardous to the mental health of individuals, some people on this website sure are supporting that premise.
"Xbox" has now become a worldwide recognized brand, the idea of not using it for the next system is severely dumb and is never going to happen. GreenRanger, comeon buddy, you cant be that naive, Microsoft has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to market the "Xbox" brand, think before you embarrass yourself again.
Now I agree that the name Xbox Next is definitely a bad choice of a name. I actually like the name Xbox Infinity and like the idea of the ...
This think looks great, definitely like this over the Shield.
In all fairness, all of the big three won. People should be happy that there are 3 big time console manufacturers that push and compete with each other. The biggest winners are the gamers. All this fanboy stuff really makes you miss out on some amazing games. My allegiance is to gaming, not a particular company, it would be a better place if everybody had the same viewpoint.
I gotta say that it's better than Reach, I tried to get into that game and it was very rough. I guess the game is getting kind of dated, just like many of the shooters today (COD, ect). I think they need to actually need to make some real changes to the gameplay that is essentially the same since the inception of the series back in 2001.
Someone needs to contact the authorities, metroid32 is on drugs and not the good kind! Lol
I play declassified at my buddy's yesterday, all I have to say is what the hell was Activision paying all the people on this site that talked it up!? If I paid for that game, I'd demand my money back! They need to port the console game or actually put some time into making the game good.
On a side note, Persona 4 was amazing! May buy a Vita for this the next time a promotion strikes.
I'm with Kingofwiiu, there is no way to port GTA5 to the Vita. Anyone that disagreed with him is just a mindless fanboy.
Wow, didn't see this coming, this is why PS3 is amazing, great exclusives!
Those games are not system sellers. They could really get some systems to sell if Rockstar has any plans for a full scale GTA game, which could be announced at the upcoming Playstation event. At this point in time, Sony really needs to up their game, a price cut is needed along with some AAA games so customers and developers will feel confident in the future of the Vita. Because if you are confident in the future at this point in time, you are in the minority.
Your argument does not scream "miles" ahead. Remember, these features are something that Microsoft had out of the gate in 2005. Don't get me wrong, it definitely is cool that you can play on two full screens while playing COD online, but that doesn't excuse the lack of a highly integrated and accessible online infrastructure. This is a mistake in my mind after a generation of gaming proved that online gaming on consoles is a big deal.
LLJAF: I don't...
I hear you, I really do. I guess I was a little too brash. But for myself and all my friends whether from real or virtual life, we truly enjoy playing together and to always be connected with each other. Fortunately the party chat feature on Xbox Live allows just that and you can't tell me that you wouldn't want that feature on the Wii U so you could play with your friends you get along with. If someone gets bored, he can play another game and he can still chat and have fun in our...
MiiVerse is definitely far from a killer app. It's a nice little feature on a platform that is behind even the current generation when it comes to the online infrastructure. I have no idea why Nintendo didn't implement popular online features like cross game chat and party chat. These are the features that gamers want when playing online and you can bet that Sony will be adding them to the PS4. People that love this feature must be blind fanboys because comparing this clunky interf...
Now if they made the game play with real money, I'd say that is awesome. Unfortunately it will be another painfully slow paced poker game for the 360. Freaking George W. Bush!
