i hope you know our ears are more then capable of knowing where sound is comming from, just try something go find a high pitched sound and make sure it is constant, now turn in a 360 degree circle, your ears can tell the difference very very minutely where sound is coming from. 7.1 is ALOT better then 5.1. and yes i know what 5.1 is. 5 speakers and the .1 = the subwoofer.

sak...wow have you seen teh WII? its in a state of its own. NO REAL GAMES AT ALL (zelda and metroid WOO) what else? ps3 matches that and exceeds it with the multiplatform games alone..

an intel qx6850 or the upcoming amd phenom, with WD 150GB raptors in raid 0, with 4GB DDR-800 ram, and dual 8800GTX in SLI, or 2 2900XT's in crossfire mode, will handle 2560x1600 like cake :)

meh.. look at the 240sx when its going so slow, its a problem with fake handling in the need for speed series (in most wanted go slowly while trying to turn you'll understand) it just turns me away from this game. id rather spend that money on something worth while like midnight club.

i dont think were there yet, the video game critics are childish morons, if this kind of realism was implimented...they would have a field day and get the game banned for excessive violence (guts spewing out, bodies bloating up, and turning yellow after death..REALISTIC BLOOD etc etc)
