First of all, large assumption there, secondly, if a publisher makes an agreement with a dev to make games exclusively for a platform then the dev is required to follow the agreement.
I have little faith in Bethesda right now tbh.
I was thinking the same thing about the first person shooters too.
Looks like a slower version of Black Myth: Wukong.
I feel like a lot of damage control is being done right now. Does Starfield *look* nice, yah. But it looks like it's been done before, just better graphics. Much of what was shown at the conference was Bethesda trying to flex there muscles as a studio. From what I saw, it looks like they need to try something completely new than just first person shooters.
Kind of just looks like any other first person shooter but with vampires?
Have you considered that they made her look like what they wanted her to look like the first time?
Wow, a whole 5 in one year!?
You know you can turn off the rumble right?
Also, rumble is in an Xbox controller...
You already don't need an Xbox, if you have a capable PC you are all good.
As far as I am concerned, if you can make a movie about how Facebook was made and it becomes one of the most critically acclaimed films of all time then I think you can make a show/film about anything with the right chemistry of people.
When it's available it's selling 1000 per minute, when it's not available it's obviously not selling.
I like how you comment on this just to diss and feel better about yourself.
I do hope they eventually use Bluepoint to remake games but also port those games to PC.
Imagine how much they would make if they released their games on PC earlier.
I feel like console gaming is slowly moving from "it has the exclusives" to "it's cheaper and easier than a buying or building a PC"
That being said - I do think consoles and exclusives are generally good for the industry.
Jim Ryan is the worst part about PS right now. He did have huge shoes to fill but his PR needs a lot of work. Like compare him to Jack Trenton, Andrew House, and Shawn Layden and he just seems so dishonest and more like a corporate puppet than someone who wants the same things as gamers.
Beating the PS2 numbers will be the biggest challenge
I get gamepass when a new xbox game comes out and I really don't want to buy an xbox. It's easier to pay 1-15 dollars every once in a while then a new game and console. But since I only get a month, I just spend that month beating any games i care for.
On playstation and steam and try to 100% many games depending on the hours I would have to put in.
I loved the Dark Alliance games back on the PS2. A bit sad they haven't remade the games tbh but at least they are getting them to a wider audience!
