My experience with Bethesda:
Fallout 3:
- Blurry screen in every time a friend logged on.
- I couldn't see my character on the character customization screen – I want a new haircut, dammit!
– A character vital to a quest just fell through the ground, never to be seen again.
Oblivion:
- During the Thieves Guild quests, the fence in the Imperial City just wasn't there.
- Got screwed by the vampire cure bug ...
I sure hope it has characters that aren't where they're supposed to be, potions where one of the ingredients isn't recognized and character customization screens where you can't see your character.
That would rock hard!
Wicked sale! I'm gonna buy 7 PS3s and a game with the $70 I saved.
Price is Sony's biggest problem and I'm sure they've been working on reducing costs for a while now, so, why not? If not now, it'll be soon, but I hope you're right, Sev.
This is just what PS3 needs right now.
I can see it now: A parking lot full of Escalades and Hummers – black, of course, with spinners – left there by chaches with designer facial hair and Tapout hoodies arguing about the proper way to do a kimora while they wait for their game.
On both Future Shop's and Best Buy's website it's showing up as "available in-store." I called – they don't have them on the shelf yet.
Normally I'd say, "Screw you guys, go buy a PS3 if you want to play it," but this game is really an experience, a piece of art, and it would be a shame if all true gamers couldn't experience it.
Fvckin' eh, dude – I'll put this up right between my Samantha Fox and Lamborghini Countach posters.
If we had a law like this when Fallout 3 was released I would've been able to change my hairstyle.
But I couldn't.
And it sucked.
And it would've made up completely for the crappy ending.
Bethesda, you suck.
...oh my fvcking god. I never gave two sh1ts about Uncharted until just now. I've never even played Drakes Fortune! I'm going to Wal-Mart – now.
Hell yeah!
Will somebody ban this guy already?
Maybe they should change the look. I never really understood why they used the Spider-Man font anyway.
This is the first time I've even heard of the YLOD. I didn't even know it had a yellow light.
Why would they change the PS3 font? That's just bad branding.
What the fvck is wrong with you fvcking people?
...although it probably doesn't mean a slim PS3.
Sony thinks that people have referring to it as PS3 for long enough now and that the name is recognizable enough to warrant an evolution in the brand. Notice that Playstation 3 is still spelled out underneath to smooth out the transition.
Or maybe there really is a slim PS3 and I have to start coming up with reasons to convince the wife that I need two PS3s.
I like Home. The problem is that I like playing games better.
Wish I had BC. I'd love to be playing Shadow of the Colossus and MGS 1-3 on my PS3.
