Actually 360 has sold a lot more here, the reason for less sales are that most of the 360's are imported so you can get them at price of 21000 (premium) which is much lower than the actual price. Also the games are imported since they then cost only 1000-1500 rather than 2000. PS2 is now doing good in INDIA but I dont think when you can easily get a game at 20-30 RS anywhere the genuine games will sell well. Now everyone is waiting for PS3 but with so much PS piracy in past will anyone buy ...
24900 INR, but its much higher than that of US and UK if we compare. Also when the games are not so cheap as compared to other countires. There is no mentioning of Spider man -3 BDR disk or games or anything.
Gaming is quite popular in Inida, especially PS2 but it doesnt sell much games due to piracy. On the other hand PC games are 2nd in popularity but they sell well here due to proper pricing.
The games are actually NES games and we all know NES games never reached the number said. IN titles like these they just repeat the games, but different names and present them multiple times at different levels. Also the no. 999,999,999 will not be correct as we open the game it would be something like 99,999, there is no garuntee or anything in it so you cant blame any one for this.
The prices have really falled down and I am gonna get it as soon as it falls in my country. Man there are tons of PC things you can do on it. Also the hardware is quite reliable, I mean I had to do a lot of hardwork to get my 360 out of 3ROL problem as I didnt had warranty, but with PS the problem would have not orignated in first case. I although dont see a lot of games on PS3 but there are really good quality products coming that make you stick to it.
The first comment is wrong the textures although seem to be muddy but the art style and sharp effects are enough for making the game look great. If texutes are problem with you have to bear it in PS3 too. Capcom games like Lost planet and Dead rising also had textures of lower reslution than other nextgen games.
I cant beleive PS3 users are bashing this game when a year earlier they were praying it. It seems if MGS or FF comes to 360 they will be saying the same about them too.
I know square from a long time the pics they show for FFXII where much much better than the actual game. Heck FFXII looked like crap at certain levels. Just look at those screenshots they look 10 times better than the highly anticipated Crysis. If square could make graphics like those they would make Crtek, epic and ID out of the engine lisencing market.
Well as for those who think it is realtime will really feel the pain when the game actually comes out.
Developers said both versions are same. But fanboys will never stop mumering. Why dont people understand Activision is praising PS3 for its sales boasts since it did not have a good status on the PS, so its trying to gain it and has succeded in it. Remember about Ninja Gaiden Sigma how much they praised PS3 earlier but they are not even releasing NG2 on PS3

Better not laugh so much and be out be of smile forever. Most of these torrents are used by small organizations mostly china based that download these games and put fancy label over it and properly cover it and sell them to countries where game piracy law are not present or not followed.
These kinds of things are making more 360 sales boost. Though this happened with the PS2 and PS1 also.
Yeah FF and MGS are Definetly great games. They do have good stories and excellent voice acting. But all of the games seem to be similar when it comes to the plot sitution, imo the have developed a way to get people indulge in their game and using it again and again I can say this for FF atleast. The way of conveying, storytelling and twist are always the same kind.
Also I would like to add I have played FFXII for 120 hours man it was good but was one pain in ass( Just think of levlei...

Peter Molyneux always makes a game such that it will not irritate the player and he will definately improve the bar of RPG, that Oblivion did earlier and these features are good and with new technology and proper implementation it would become prime nominee for GOTY 2008.
I still think that micrsoft compresion technology is strong enough for current time but if more MMO and games like borderlands gerne may make microsft to go for this move after 2-3 years, then this could be good. Also, I can certainly tell that current 360 users will not have to worry since the price of HDDVD drive when such a situation arrives will be near abt 100$ or even lesser, since situation like that will never happen before 2-3 years (if its gonna happen). I dont see how Halo 3 disk come up, because Microsoft has done a lot of raids in Indian Grey markets that no shopkeeper was daring to keep 360 games or mod a 360. But on the other hand PS2's copied disk are so well available that you can get almost any PS2 game at price lower than a coke. But no one complained abt it then or even now.

This is really a awesome article and make you think about it with lot of facts and photos, but on the contrary it might not be correct. You know every thing has a saturation point and it implies to video games too. Yeah but it will be also true that everyone in the world would be a casual gamer ( one who atleast play for 1-2 a week).
I mean I have not seen Ps3 owned by anyone in my known list. Although 360 is widely available. But maybe since Sony is popular in India due to PS2 where you can grab a collection of 100 games for a price near abt 40 USD. Also there are a lot of arcade store which give PS2 for play for a very low price not only in towns but in villages too. Also not mention most of the fanboys here dont even like Final Fantasy and MGS here. With such marketing why would Sony not be popular here.
