Quake is not a looker in PC too. It looks less than Frontline. But they have implemented id's Mega texturing technology but if this is how it looks on PS3 then it would not change for 360 since id's engine have similar performance in all engines. But i think that the pics are degraded and also id's games don't look good in pics most of the times. Yeah but this time they are too rough.

RPG's are RPG's there is no Jrpg and WRPG, yeah a JRPG can get bad and a WRPG can be extremly emotional. But I would say since all people who want RPG carve for very realistic graphics and length from next gen they are having huge budgets so that might be on hold. Guys 9800 was not very huge upgrade but the price was correct, the dissapointment was 9600 it was weaker than 8800 and it should be but it is much weaker than expected and the price is not very low from 8800 but yeah overall the pricing is improved.
But another reason may be that almost excpet crysis even UT3 runs on 7300SE yeah alot of features are missed out but it runs atleast and still look decent and frame rate is kind of satisfying.

nO DOUBT its one of the highly anticipated game of the year but I just hope that Ubisoft put that Ultra realistic gameplay things off that Crytek has put in Faracry and Crysis. It sometime gets too hard, and ruins the fun of game.
