This game was announced way back in 2006. So it's been 9 years. So glad I didn't buy a PS3. I would of been pissed to have bought one for this only for things to have turned out the way they have.

Game looks the same from what I remember when they first announced it. Don't see why so much hype for this game. Didn't really show much and what they did show looked boring. Never even heard of Paris Games Week til Sony announced they were gonna be there this year. Also first time ever hearing China Joy is this year. But Microsoft was at China Joy also. There's already been articles posted about China Joy so that already took place.
Of course they can. Neither has released much this year. Microsoft has more coming out this year than Sony does. And the argument that Sony doesn't push for Holiday releases when they do. Thing is a lot of those games that they put for Holiday release have been getting delayed until early Spring of the following year. Have noticed that for a while now with Sony.
And last gen majority just complained when Microsoft did have these same exclusive deals in place. But now that Sony does it, it's okay. At least that's what seems to be the consensus around here and almost any other site.

Yeah you're correct. Ended up seeing this posted on Best Buy's Forums. Amazon only charges once an item ships which is why I went ahead with my initial pre-order there. Did it as a back up just in case at the time.
Yes. In for 2. 1 for Xbox One for myself and 1 for PS4 for a cousin of mine. He's paying I'm using my Gamer's Club Unlocked. I already had a pre-order at Amazon. But much rather get it from Best Buy. The one day I didn't check was the day the initial pre-orders went up even though I had checked as soon as this was announced and for like a week or so after. Question is do I cancel my Amazon pre-order or keep it? Wonder if it would be worth keeping for resale.

I was 8 years old when the original Mortal Kombat came out and my parents let me play that. You know the 1 game that practically single handily created the ESRB. Problem is a lot of parents now a days are lousy parents and government thinks it knows better. Sounds like you know what you're doing and sounds like you have great kids. It's the bad ones that ruin it and make every one else look bad.
Wish Best Buy would restock this since I have Gamer's Club Unlocked. So would get 20% off. Last I checked the Xbox One version was showing sign up for Waiting List on Square's website. Also just checked and Amazon still only showing available from sellers at an inflated price for the Xbox One version while the PS4 one is in stock shipped and sold by Amazon.
I was able to pre-order for Xbox One on Amazon after seeing the post about it being sold out here on N4G. I only pre-ordered as a back up option. Still waiting for Best Buy to do pre-orders that way I can go pre-order in store since I have Gamer's Club Unlocked and get 20% off all new game purchases at Best Buy.
I just pre-ordered it right now on Amazon for Xbox One. It's 3/11/15 2:25 AM I dont even have the funds in my account but went ahead and pre-ordered since the charge doesn't go through til the item is shipped.
Same here. Plus only having to put $5 down in store. Only thing is if you try to pay pre-orders all off up front their computer system doesn't apply the discount. At least in store it doesn't.
I pre-ordered this at Best Buy back on July 27, 2014. Before I even got a Xbox One. Best Buy is now advertising a free steel book case with pre-order of Witcher 3. I wonder if its the same as the one in the Collector's Edition. And does this mean I'll get 2 of them? 1 for Collector's Edition and another for pre-ordering? Nevermind I just looked at it again and it's a different Steelbook. So I should be getting 2 different Steelbooks. Nice.
