Sadly still digital only. Still need to get imported asia physical copies of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water & Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. I really hate how all these have been digital only here in the U.S.

Not as bad as Dead or Alive with all their DLC.
Also heard MK1 was bad with their DLC too. More so the cost on that one.

Also it's digital only. No physical release on Xbox.
I already have it on PS5. I'd prefer to have it on Xbox but not going to re-buy it unless it's a physical copy.

Exactly this. I remember when all this happened. They wanted to keep ownership of the IP which Sony wouldn't let them. They also claimed to want to stay independent. Yet after all that they ended up selling to Sony anyways. Can confirm this by looking up the game and seeing that Sunset Overdrive was Published by Xbox Game Studios.

I want physical copies for both. Though I already got FF16 on PS5 while it was on sale for $30

There's a difference. Buying a studio you own the actual game. While the other you're just paying to purposely stop the game from releasing on another platform. When you actually own something you should have the right to do with it as you like. Not when you don't own it. And as other's have stated Sony did this back in the day before Microsoft ever made Xbox. It's why I laugh when people claim Sony creates stuff from the ground up. then get upset that Microsoft buys studi...

Dang it not Tango Gameworks. I wanted to see what they could do for Evil Within 3 with a bigger budget.

If they turned it into a movie. I'd watch it. Last month watched Blackberry.

I enjoyed the older Spider-Man games. Just curious have you played any of the Spider-Man games before the Insomniac one? Only asking because to me the new ones don't seem that much better than the old ones. I still need to play Spider-man by Insomniac. It's in my backlog. Seems everytime I see people mention the new games. They don't really mention why it was better. Other than it being exclusive. Kinda wish they would make a new game like the old Sega Genesis X-Men game. Played i...

I actually own the other Arkham games. They are in my backlog. the one I actually don't own is the first one which I did 100% complete when I rented it. Jeeze that was so long ago. lol

You mean the EU allowing the deal. And the FTC losing in court.
I just find it crazy the FTC and CMA were fighting this so much. When you have like what close to 40 other countries who have all accepted the deal. Also with them FTC and CMA meeting so many times. I bet they were definitely working together to try and get this blocked.

930d ago 10 agree7 disagreeView comment

Exactly this. they aren't taking games away. at least not yet.
The way I see it is paying to block games is worse. Because the way I see things when you own something you have the right to do with what you want with it. But when you don't own something. You don't have the right to tell the people who do own it what to do with it. I notice most people don't look at it this way though. Most thing blocking games is fine and buying publishers and studios is bad. But I not...

That is true. The older Spider-Man games never even got as much hype as the Batman Arkham games did either. Which reminds me. I still need to play most of the Arkham games only beat the first one over a weekend. Still need to play Arkham City, Origins, and Knight.

I never mentioned anything about sales. I was specifically talking about all the hype these games generate even before release. And the older games doing worse proves my point. The older games never got this kind of hype ever.

I never understood all the hype around Insomniac's Spider-Man games. Back when Spider-Man was multiplatform the games never got any hype like these. Not even close. And I wouldn't be surprised if most of the ones who hype up these Spider-Man games never played the older Spider-Man games either. From what I've noticed seems like these games only get hyped up by Sony Fanboys. I still need to play Marvel's Spider-Man. The last one I remember playing was during the Xbox360 and PS3...

If the gaming industry was going to implode from studios being bought out. Then it would of happened already. Back when Sony was first entering the industry. How you think they got in back then? They were buying up studios. They just don't have the funds like that like Microsoft does now a days. They even abandoned using their own devkits for the original playstation in favor of some other company.

They didn't say COD was never coming to gamepass. they said Activision had no plans to put the games on Gamepass. That's part of Microsoft's and FTC's argument. That COD would be on Gamepass without the merger. But Activision said they had no plans to put it on Gamepass. While Microsoft says they do have plans.

Looks like the FTC and CMA were working together to try and get this blocked. of course they both deny it. but it already came out before that the FTC and CMA met 26 times to discuss this acquisition.
