FF13 was a swift kick in the balls to Sony and their fans. That was so unexpected and added fuel to the console war. Easily one of the most shocking announcements ever.

Yeah, there is only about 14 I really like. I don't know, the formula is starting to wear thin. I mean don't get me wrong, I had a hell of alot of fun with Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3 (they are amazing to play when drunk!) but, I will likely skip on the sequels. It is becoming old and it is only a matter of time before these games fade away into oblivion. It's a fad... no different than Furby or Pokemon.
Never bought any of that crap anyway. The free ones (Halo 3, Gears of War) where good enough.

It does suck that Sony just seems to let them have these popular titles. Seriously, what the **** is Sony doing? They are just letting Microsoft take them over. I love the 360 and PS3 equally but Sony needs to get moving on things or they are screwed. Resistance 2, Socom Confrontation (which looks like crap, imo), and Killzone 2 are not going to win it for them. They needed FF13 since the PS3 has no real good RPGs.

I honestly don't think they cared about the game itself. Since it has had little to no developer support. I think it was nothing more than a Unreal Engine 3 tech demo which they are making a fortune on. Seriously, the number has got to be around 65% of games using that damn engine. Turok, Assassin's Creed, Army of Two, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2, Stranglehold, Bioshock, Blacksite: Area 51, Brothers in Arms, Hour of Victory, Lost Odyssey, Medal of Honor, Mass Effect, etc. But ye...

I have no problem with EA's game mechanics in Madden but I do agree with the guy that the NASCAR games are crap. I have played the demos and if I wanted I real racer I would pick up Forza or Gran Turismo and some great "aracady" ones like Burnout and Motorstorm. UT3 is very average in my opinion. The gameplay formula is starting to wear thin; it hasn't changed much in 9 years. "Run, Shoot, Die, Repeat" That is all UT3 is, just a mindless 'run N' gun' game with no real incentive to play online. The next one better be overhauled with ranking, unlockables and WITH AN ACTUAL CAMPAIGN!!!!!!!!
I understand IW not wanting to add trophies but the rumble development kit WAS available before COD4 shipped. Ratchet and Clank shipped with rumble included in it 2-3 weeks before COD4 even hit shelves. They could have added rumble a long time ago, but they choose not to. What is their excuse then?
