WHAT!?!? You haven't played Batman???? That is blasphemy!!! You are really missing out! GET IT NOW!
The game spands several decades, we don't know the exact timeframe just 1960's on. It won't be a specific period like the past Call of Duty's, I am thinking a sort highlight reel of major events in history.
Yeah, that was pretty damn sick. Seems like it won't be a complete retread of MW2 and that Treyarch is adding new stuff and putting their own stamp on it. I am pleasantly surprised that Treyarch isn't doing what they did with World at War.
Which is why I don't understand why publishers wait until October to December to spam all the games. They are screwing themselves over especially with Call of Duty and Halo this fall.
SOLD! LOL! :)
Dangit, I need just $5 more for free shipping. Hmm...what to get...what to get? Any ideas?
Inception was absolutely incredible, truly one of the best films I have ever seen. Action packed and exciting but also deliciously complex and intelligent. I can't remember a time where I walked out of theater blown away like that.
Seriously, between Batman: Arkham Asylum and Christopher "Godlike" Nolan's films, Batman is FINALLY getting the treatment he deserves! Roll on Arkham City.
We will probably get a sequel. It will cross 1 million lifetime on the 360, and I am willing to bet there will be a PC version early next year with the DLC included. Hopefully they get a sequel out within 2-3 years, and not another 5.
Personally, I thought Alan Wake was average, not bad but nowhere as good as I was hoping. I mean 5 years and the developers of Max Payne, and that was it? Good story, great atmosphere, but bland game play, and too much repetition and lacking in variety.
I don't think Red Dead Redemption killed its sales, it was the lukewarm reviews (only an 83 on metacritic) and the crap marketing, which is surprising since Microsoft usually markets the hell out of their exclusives (Fable...
I always wondered why World of Warcraft never came to consoles. It seems like easy money.
I always roll with the standard editions, $60 is steep enough. I don't need nor do I care about the stupid figurines, artbooks, and making of docs. Never bought a special edition for any game and that isn't likely to change any time soon.
It was rumored that Insomniac (love those doods!) were working on a survival horror game. We haven't heard from them in like forever, only time will tell.
I am just getting Dead Space 2 and Dead Space Extraction...you now the actual games and not the stupid graphic novels like this.
It was just such a skimpy barebones game, it didn't help that the general presentation (animations, music, menus, sound) was awful. Seriously, nobody was expecting great graphics and that is fine but the sound effects are like BB guns, the voice overs are atrocious, and the animations like reloading the launcher are about as bad as they come. At 60 bucks the content is severely lacking, there is like a 5 or 6 maps, and only 3 assault rifles, I mean come on!
Plus the onlin...
I swear, I will be dead and buried before this game comes out. Like you other dudes said, either get it done or just give up already. What happened to Duke Nukem was not just a slap in the face to fans but a perfect example of a truly incompetent company. Digi-Guys seem to be the new 3D Realms.
Still not convinced...I don't know, just seems lame. I don't see myself getting this until I know if it really kicks off.
Oh boy, this is gonna be a real smackdown at the disco!
Dude, alot of game developers focus on just 1 franchise. It is their baby, man! Cliffy B with Gears of War, David Jaffe with Twisted Metal, Molyneux with Fable etc.
The Wii is probably going to wind up with PS2 like sales numbers, I'm still never getting one though. But, props to Nintendo.
