I was thinking of that too - before I clicked on the site though. I hope we get a sequel or expansion in the future.
It can fit more data on the disc, that's why it's needed. Games aren't getting smaller and DVD is a last gen format. I guarantee you 720 will be using Blu-ray. Anyways, FF7 on DVD would of been really convenient and things like FMV scene quality and sounds would been superior. I can't even replay my copy because disc one is too scratched up so I'm stuck with disc 3. So yeah, I think it would of been a better game on 1 DVD.
You don't see a lot of people share their vision so accurately beyond computer animated pictures. The video is a very convincing representation of what Sonic and Knuckles remade with PC graphics would look like; nothing about the video looks "off". This makes Sonic 4 look like crap IMO. Too bad it's not a real game.

I don't see a reason to include MK3 and Trilogy as separate games. MK Trilogy is a faster, more broken version of UMK3, which is an improved version of MK3. So, they should probably fix MK Trilogy and not include MK3. Including both would be redundant and pointless.
BC has nothing to do with this. If rumors are true, then we are only getting MK1-Trilogy remade in HD. MK 2,3, and Trilogy for PS1 can be played on any PS3; PS2 BC isn't required to play PS1 games.
I'm definitely looking forward to playing UMK3 in HD.

Lol, one of my favorite games on Dreamcast. A sequel would be nice though. Oh, and Sonic Adventure is coming out for the third time? I'll pass - unless they add something that will make it worth playing again (besides trophies/achievements).
You need to be on firmware 3.41 for this to work, this is really expensive, games can't be downloaded from the internet, PS3 games average at 24Gbs, and this will probably be fixed soon. I don't think it's worth it unless you're extremely desperate. Unlike other hacks, this will cost hundreds of dollars to do.
Not selling more PS3s if no one is buying games.

How many people risk hacking their 360 and other consoles for emulators, region unlocking, and video support only? Not many. Most do it because they have intentions on pirating games. It's just common sense; they just want free games. Everything else is a bonus.

Wow, I haven't had those type of issues for a couple of years now. It could be your internet connection or the way your network is setup. My old Linksys router would always disconnect me from the internet randomly until I replaced it.
I would say the engine is optimized on PS3. I believe the development of UT3 on PS3 helped with the optimization. Also, Sony is using the engine for some of its Move games. I doubt they would utilize the engine if it had significant issues running on PS3.

Big whoop; PS3 users don't have to worry about ridiculously overpriced HDDs. Upgrading to 500gb isn't expensive compared to, lets say, upgrading a 20gb 360 HDD to a 120gb 360 HDD. And that new 360 S HDD for $129....ha - lets not talk storage issues like PS3 has all of the downsides and 360 has none.
