Halo, Gears, and Forza - Wow, haven't heard that list before, lol.

Looking forward to playing Gears, but I'll take Batman: AC, Uncharted 3, and Dark Souls over those titles any day.

No issues whatsoever and its 100% free.

Not even worth $5.

-Online is unplayable
-Input lag in MK1
-UMK3 runs slightly slower (might be faster after the update)
-1vs1 player lobbies
-No spectating
-Sound issues
-Freezing

UMK3 on XBLA was much better and next month it'll be 5 years old. MK2 on PSN had online that was playable as well.
This should of been free with every copy of MK9. If you want to play these games, go download MAME and all...

Sony actually had this feature planned before the PS3 released (and in-game video chat/calling), but they downgraded the PS3 specs to save money and lower the costs. Even when they did that, they were still losing money on every PS3 sold when it first released.

Anyways, I guess we should be happy they somehow managed to get in-game XMB in. You have to give Microsoft props for having this feature in day 1, too. They have definitely raised the bar in the online department of c...

Every company - including "smart" Microsoft - acknowledges & accepts that there's no such thing as security that's "un-hackable". Think I'm lying? I'm downloading 8 security updates for Windows 7 right now.....

Great game. Also, if I'm not mistaken, this game was the first to have trophy support.

They took the risk to create brand new IPs from scratch that flopped, but canceled a sequel to an established title that their fans wanted? If that isn't lamest shit ever, I don't know what is.

I picked up the PS3 version at a BB store, too. The price drop is in-store & online.

"If you complain when PS3 gets shafted then you should complain when X360 gets it as well."

Seen the 360 version myself. It looks and plays fine. I wouldn't say they dropped ball like Rockstar has with EVERY game they have developed on PS3. This is just ONE game with a few minor flaws that would probably go unnoticed. Really good effort for a game that probably didn't have a lot of development time on 360. Rockstar, on the other hand, doesn't even try to...

Maybe they should handle the PS3 counterparts of their games.

"Sadly, Activision owns the IP rights now and that is highly unlikely."

You would know that the authoer does acknowledge that.

It's more of a "what if" type of thing since Sony has been leading in remake scene for consoles and most fans are familiar with it on the PS platform. The series was in its prime during those days when ND developed it; now the series is just horrible.

Tbh, I thought RE5 got "really silly towards the end". The "zombies" that had machine guns, the crappy cover implementation and boulder punching sequence: it sounds like they ran out of ideas towards the end of the game...or after RE4. I thought RE4 was a pretty fresh start for the series.

Just like the people who said PS3 couldn't handle Mass Effect 1 (how's that crow taste btw?). That excuse makes them look really bad now considering how outdated it looks compared to just about anything.

You know what's funny though, Epic said UT3 ran better on PS3 then Gears did on 360 in 2007, a year after they made the RAM excuse.

RE5 & GTAIV were fine on ps3 and very, very playable (don't know about RDR or Mafia 2 though). No one could tell a difference until screenshots were compared. The way they're describing how this game plays on PS3 seems like it's unplayable and embarrassingly bad looking - that's a completely different scenario. Also, Rockstar isn't making L.A. Noire, Team Bondi is.

Crackdown 1 was a decent game for its time; Crackdown 2 was fun for about 2 hours on a good day and that's being generous.

For video games, Amazon gets 15% of the amount the item sold for, but that excludes the shipping price. So while the seller isn't completely avoiding the fees, he or she is making more money while keeping the price low.

The shipping price is high to avoid fees.

"Remember how the game looks, now increase the resolution."

Yeah, that's what you would expect but they changed the hitboxes of the characters on the iPad remake and if that's ANY indication of what could happen to the rumored remakes on consoles, then it can change how the game is played significantly. It'll be a different game, apart from it looking better.

Although it's a really bad port of the game. I'm looking forward to seeing how the console versions turn out. Hopefully they don't mess with the gameplay too much.

I remember people defending Alan Wake and Splinter Cell C. And don't get my started on Dead Space 2 or COD: some people genuinely believe reviews are unreliable, not just PS3 fanboys, buddy.
