I agree with you. I've been mindlessly auto attacking everything for the past 30 hours. Even high dragons require no strategy whatsoever except popping a regen potion now and then.
I would rate it a 7 8. The game is highly unbalanced. Once you reach the higher end of the 10s level, everything becomes a cakewalk, even the high dragons, even on harder difficulties. I've been mindlessly auto attacking every mob for a good 30 hours now.
Still, the fact that I'm still playing is a testament to the other aspects' quality. Of the scenery or characters weren't as engaging as they are, I would have shelved the game a good amount of hours ago...
Why whould I ? I still have a working original ps copy...
Awww, I kind of got used to my Inquisitor's plastic beard!
65 hours and just finished "Dark eyes and wicked hearts"!
So much to see and do.
Of course the game is good. But it has serious flaws that should not be accepted. Or, read that as "The flaws it has wouldn't be accepted if it was made by someone else than Bioware".
I posted a link to the forums. Obviously you haven't clicked it. You would have seen that for many, many persons the game is completely broken.
Also, like I said, I love the game. I'm just not blinded by my enjoyment of it. It has serious issues and that's not acceptable.
Savior of the industry?
No. In order to be that it should have been a flawless release with no game breaking bugs.
It's a good game, but it has everything that's rotten with the industry. Unsolved problems at launch only to meet release date is poor industry practice.
If that's what the official forum of a "Savior of the industry" game looks like, I'm out of here.

Yep best way to go.
It may look like I don't like the game because I keep posting about the technical problems, but even with those, DA:I is one of my games of the year.
Terrific game. I love it.
I love how someone disagrees when all I do is bring testimonials of issues people have in the game.
"NOOOOOOO A game I love can't be bugged, I don't agree with that concept!"
Characters hanging after speaking their lines, loud buzzing sound at forges or at loading screens, quest completion notifications poping up randomly when quest was completed hours ago, NPCs not appearing, War table missions countdowns going in reverse, Inquisitor removing armor when leaving Skyhold, drum loop playing non-stop in Skyhold, impossibilty to interact with some story related objects, Inquisitor gender being changed in conversation, Inquisitor's voice changing after meeting a ce...

I would give a lower review on metacritic. I love the game but
I came across quite a few massive bugs and freezes causing data corruption. It was released too early and has not been properly tested. What's even more maddening is the total radio silence on the issues from both EA and bioware.
Great game, poor release.
The only reason this game deserves to have lowered scores is because it's, at the moment, a huge glitch and bugs fest. The game is solid, and once patched it will be one of the best western RPG of recent years.
Catherine should be on that list. As far as psycho goes, that girl is second to none...
It's meaningful in Dragon Age. The story is pretty much based around character interactions...
Sex scene is far fetched...
Worst, besides the crashes, is those for who the level up menu never unlocked.
I can't beliebe they're focusing on that before the crashes and locked leveling bugs...
Yep. That game absolutely nailed difficulty scaling, even more so with Dark Arisen.
