And at a low price too! :D
I'd like a cosmetic update for the demons. :)
Anyway, from what I've seen it's my GOTY already!
The battle system only started being really different after Final Fantasy X.
1 to 9 pretty much all use the same system with some little differences...
@Noctis Yeah I never said they were bad at what they did. Only I don't think it's an Art Direction that should be followed through.
But I'm not making the game and I can appreciate their effort.
There's a difference between graphical engineering prowess and art direction. I just feel like they don't have the tech to render the art direction they want, and it ends up looking weird to me.
@Abriel
As I see it, it would require a whole lot of creativity to make a hair style that looks good while still being high-def. As it is now, it's technically impressive, but it has no creativity. Any game could use that style, if you catch my drift. Not that it is a bad thing, but we have to be honest, that's generic hair rendering. Well done and impressively detailed, but generic nonetheless. Not creative.
You want creative hair? Check the Atelier ...
Yeah... But then wouldn't it be better to use another style for the hair?
It might end up being distracting...
Eyes are good, but am I the only one who sees extreme jaggies on the hair? :/
I hope they fix that.
Knowing Atlus, they'll have one. They'll also include an art book and soundtrack CD with the regular edition's first run of print! (That's what they usually do anyway!)
Well in p3 / p4, high social links gave small little bonus like that (Clear status effects, endure mortal blow etc...), that could be it, a kind of lower scale "All out attack" thing...
The wait is killing me!
I'm replaying p4 for the 3rd time and p5's already taken it's place in my heart!
Also, when you look at the bottom left, it shows Anne firing at the monsters while it is clearly Potter's turn.
What can we make out of that? Combo attacks? Pseudo-real time battles for the AI controlled team members? Persistent DPS from other members while it is not their turn? I. Need. To. Know!!!
If I'm not mistaken, that skill should be Agilao or Agidyne... No way vanilla Agi does that much fire!!! (And if it does, well, I can't wait to see what higher elemental tiers do!)
Man those battle effects look intense! (Also, for those who were wondering, we have solid proof that the heroes won't turn into their person, that the good old summoning is still the way they do it)
Well if it can convince you otherwise, the demons in SMT games come from all the world's religions and folk tales, and include angels, cryptozoology, fairy tale characters etc.
Sure, Baphomet's in there, but so are Mara, Vishnu, Gabriel and Thor... SO you see, they're all called Demons but a lot of them aren't!
It's really only Pokémon for grown ups! :)
A title like that honestly doesn't make me want to read the article...
It's like "Here's a terrible idea! :D Can I have your attention?"
My answer is "No."
lol. No.
I don't need a committee for my hobbies, thank you.
There's no committee for the movies I see, the music I listen to or the porn I jerk to. Why should games be different?
By far one of the worst idea ever had by someone.
But what if his origin persona evolves as Lupin? :o
I may have to use my own name or call him Robin...
You won't have problem as they all tell different stories, but you're missing out on hours of fun by not playing the previous games!
Not fair, I was planning on naming the protagonist Arsène !
I'll have to find another gentleman thief name, then. :(
My theory is that they now have the means to make every shadow walk around in dungeons as it's actual sprite. Given how the dungeon we saw kind of looks like a ball room, I wouldn't be surprised if the dancers monster walked around too.
But there's only one thing we can do, wait. :( It's too looooooong...
Awwwwww yeah!
