Not dulled, but took it's rightful place.
After all the tease and the disappearances of FF vs XIII / XV, I grew bored of it, but kept some interest.
Atlus did their thing right. They told us they were working on it but didn't show anything until they were adamant about what was going to be in the game. So when they DID show something, the hype created could only be immense. (Also, Atlus has a much better track record of creating high quality products ...

It's a game by Atlus' core team. It's pretty much guaranteed to be excellent. Even when they went completely out of their way with Catherine they managed to create a masterpiece.
I have no worry, p5 will be excellent, whatever the changes!

The team seems to be wanna be superheroes this time (quite cool if you ask me!), and there's a certain "Phantom of the Opera" thing going on. Can't wait to see how it all gels together! :D

I'm all for huge games, as long as they're populated with actual stuff to do.
Plenty of open world games pad the gameplay with "Picking up flowers and mining ores, wheeeeee". I hope FF XV pads the gameplay with fun activities, like fishing mini games, rare monsters to hunt, secret caves with good loot etc.
A mountain is impressive, but an empty mountain is nothing but a walk in the park if there's nothing to see and do.
I have comics tattoos, but next one I get will be Mog from the NA FF VI box art. :)

At the end of the trailer, the protag is seen with typical yellow eyes, like shadows have.
Anyway, it's wayyyy too soon to speculate on the persona/shadow/demon mechanics of the game. ;)
