I use one USB for my Keyboard and Mouse.
One for my Headset.
I charge the ds3 via my laptop... sometimes I need one more for for USB storage devices... but I just unplug something not too much of a big deal. But A USB HUB would do the trick. no need to void the warranty.
And 2 USB slots is not enough IMO But I can live with it, all I need to do is to buy a hub.

I looked at the required HDD space for each game.
Now I see in the PS3 save map, that most saves are less than 1 MB.
It should do it. lol.
I hope sony also keep count on what game firmaware I had when I last saved on the cloud as well as trophies so I can get them back if my ps3 YLOD.

I have a plasma, supposedly 600Hz.
It have a game mode wich turns off all the fancy image processing shit. and the imput lag is 21ms. which is good, I heard most tvs are between 30 and 100.
with 100 being unplayable since 100 milli seconds = 0.1 second, while mine supposedly is 0.02. its a Panasonic TX-P G20E/ES.
Im glad sony have introduced cloud saving on the Playstation 3.
But 150MB could barely fit 2-3 game saves.
I got 25 games!
So please sony let us be able to upload all our saves.
Also im all for NGP and PS3 using the same network and stuff. + steam and remote play = good.
For all this to happen Sony will have to uppdate their software in ps3. Maybe we will get a new UI, new XMB, a simplistic Ingame menu, cross game chat and a new browser...

I sure want my next console to have SSD installed trough PCI. Its the fastest and most secure storage media. Not being mechanical, and not developing any significant heat (usually 50-70 Celcius max) makes FLASH very reliable. many SSD's have an estimated failure rate of 0.04 Percent per its first year of usage.

ITs not 3D though but it hits pretty well on the other points, with effective Morphological AA. crisp, clean and smooth looking.
Its very rare for games on todays consoles to look good and have good AA, high res and high FPS though.

True, but there is a posibility that Infamous 2 will use MLAA and it might even look this good though when I look closer Ill have to agree with you that it could be touched up.
The AA in Uncharted 2 is no nearly as good as the AA in these Infamous 2 screens or GOW 3, not that it bothered me a lot while playing, it was like the 2nd biggest weakness the game had... wich says a lot about how great the game is.

Why Im okay with not owning a 3DS:
Because I am going to get the NGP.
3DS is cool and it will get some good titles like RE and MGS.
Street fighter is also a lot of fun on it.
But to me its not worth it, the hardware and functionality is pretty meh compared to NGP.
And Im more fan of Sony's franchises.
Good thing one of my friends got a 3DS. Ill just play on his 3DS, I know for sure he is getting MGS on that thing.

But the XMB IS near perfect IMO.
Its simplistic yet good looking and offers quick access to whatever.
Its like you need a map to navigate The dashboard. (not really, but its slightly more randomized kind of)
HOWEVER I got one big problem with XMB vs the dash.
