That's pretty much how everything in the world works. What's wrong with helping an independent developer a little bit? Even if the game comes out crap, at least you were a decent enough human being to TRY. Besides, what happens when the games they make turn out to be awesome? Then you just helped some lowly indy dev become successful and secured their place to making likely good games.

Don't get me wrong, I completely agree with you. I just don't think you should limit yourself to "just" Fallout lol. I too love Fallout but there are still games that do that "gritty, empty, no-electricity" concept better. Honestly, Fallout has never given me that impression. Anyways, as my response to the troll himself, they choose BF3 because BF3 has *good* graphics. CoD doesn't. If you think otherwise, you're a fool and you need your eyes checked.
I don't think you should immediately dismiss another universe just because you're more comfortable with a different one. You will miss out on so much that way. Especially since there are better post-apocalyptic world games than Fallout. The S.T.A.L.K.E.R games being a great example of that to come to mind.

The thing is, the KZ franchise does actually have a really good story. It's just that the story hasn't really been well executed yet, which you can hardly blame them considering how difficult it must be to construct a good story through the eyes of a single person in a first-person shooting game. I trust that GG well give us something amazing with KZ4.

I agree with him. Skyrim is nothing compared to Oblivion, which was nothing compared to Morrowind.
