@Wet, also consider that The Last of Us is a PS3 (You know, a console) exclusive. Don't get me wrong, I love the PS3, but just imagine if ND wasn't limited by it's hardware. The things they will accomplish on the PS4 will be legendary, if it isn't already.
Honestly, I don't think Skyrim is a graphical masterpiece at all, whether on consoles or PC (unless you use mods of course). I appreciate the game as an open world RPG, it really doesn't need to wow anyone with graphics. Battlefield, while beautiful, again doesn't need to impress people with its graphics because it's flat out just a really fun game. I seriously don't think he needs nerfed. MAYBE make him gain AP a little slower, but other than that, he's 100% perfectly fine. If anyone needs nerfed, it's Sly. Just Sly.
I kind of disagree with "Any Nintendo Series". While I'm always going to love any and all new Zelda games, I think Mario is getting to be too much. I'm not saying they need to stop making Mario games, but they need to at least focus on JUST his primary games. No more Mario Party/Sports spin-off crap.

I doubt it. Though there may be a new director, the game has officially become known has a truly difficult game, to the extent that Dark Souls was marketing with the "Prepare to Die" theme and it still sold considerably well. This whole process has made "Difficult" the game's staple. I really don't think the new director would risk downplaying what made the series popular.

Not to mention, for anyone who has a smartphone (and who doesn't these days?) There are several apps on both the Ios and Android that actually tell you which friends are online and what games they're playing at the moment. These apps exist for both PS3 and Xbox.
Personally, I could care less about cross-game chat. I mean really, if I'm playing Battlefield, and my buddy is playing Skyrim or something, what are we really going to talk about? Another problem of theres... NO ONE even cares if their graphics look PERFECT on consoles! If people REALLY cared about nothing but graphics, they'd spend a ton of money on a good gaming PC. Consoles are designed for convenience, and when it comes down to the average gamer, graphics really don't mean much. Just look at freaking Call of Duty... Exactly! Hell, the reason Crysis 1 started the whole, "Can it run Crysis?" meme for PC rigs, is because people THOUGHT Crysis was too powerful for anyone's machine, when in reality, Crysis 1 was just horribly optimized. I mean, why else would Crysis 2 run better maxed out than Crysis 1 maxed out? Exactly, lol.

Deku-Johnny, thank you for bringing that up. It's so annoying when people think that REAL ninjas are exactly as they appear in movies and video-games. I too think that Ubisoft would really make sure that ninjas in their game (if it happened) would be very much authentic. If anyone can do it right, it's Ubi.
calis, Black Ops 2 sold like 2 million less than Modern Warfare 3 in the first month. COD may still be selling very well, but yes, it is slowing down. Guitar Hero was a best seller for a long time, then people got bored of it, now it doesn't even exist anymore.
